Don't worry. This is the last season of the story between Vi & Jinx (Piltover & Zaun) but it's not the final ending for the whole universe. Riot has confirmed that they will have many more seasons for other characters from different lands (Demacia, Noxus, Ionia, Shurima.....) in the same universe.
Yep, it's the last season! (for jinx and vi's story) But they plan to make more shows like this within the same universe. Arcane is just a tiny fraction of the lore so they have a ton more they want to do

I've been saying it to some people, I don't think people are prepared how much might happen in this final season. I wouldn't be surprised if Jinx vs. Vi happens by episode 3 or 4, since the first season was broken into 3 Acts. (Also the first season final trailer was very mis-leading, in a good way) Some might find that anti-climactic, but I think there's so much in store for this season. They've announced they are only doing two seasons of Arcane because they know how exactly how they want to tell Jinx and Vi's stories, plus obviously some other characters included. They have already green lit other shows to start exploring this world and regions of Runeterra. So I wouldn't be surprised if later down the line characters make cameos. I don't know how far you plan to dive into league content, but if you decide to learn more about this world, here is a good playlist of lots of videos. Little over half hour, but he does a great job explain the world of Runeterra and the different regions if you want to understand more context of what is to come from this world and possible future shows. I cannot wait for this season I definitely think that the start of the season will be both Jinx and Vi becoming people that their younger selves wouldn't recognize. Enforcer Vi and terrorist Jinx. Just the worst versions of themselves, to the point that they literally come to blows and almost kill each other. But I have some hope that this low will make both of them realize they've gone too far and SLOWLY start a journey to becoming better people Sadly, I do think their relationship as sisters is more or less dead, but maybe they can at least come to some form of forgiveness and a truce, even if they can't be together anymore and need to form new separate families now
yeah this will be the final season for Arcane but Riot Games intends to create another show based on the league of legends world so we will see another connected series based on other characters.
Honestly they be smart to just call additional seasons Arcane since they take place in the same world. I'll consider any new show S3 anyway and so will a lot of others
a few things i gathered from the trailer - Jinx loses a finger but gains an airship and at some point, Ekko, Vi and Sevika are fighting the Noxians under Jinx's colours. yeah, it should be good.

Not seasons, but new movies and series. Arcane is pretty much done after with season 2.
