I love Rosencranz as a rival and foil to the Fight Knight; Rosencranz is prideful yet doesn't have true self confidence, so when he loses and can no longer hide behind his pride he falls apart. The Fight Knight, on the other hand, knows that you don't fail until you stay down. They (and hopefully us, the players) learn that to keep trying until you succeed is the _fun_ part. In addition, the Fight Knight seems to know Rosencranz's worth better than he does, and goes out of his way not only to show Rosencranz that he's sorry for accidentally revealing his false arm, but also to show Rosencranz that he's a worthy rival.
i love the subtle reveal at rivalis true appearance here at first i assumed that he became a cyclops from being turned into an abomination by the tower only for us to learn that the assassin-cyclops is his brother... so.

Yeah, it's kinda strange. Although Fight Knight didn't exactly seem too concerned about his curse. In fact he was willing to leave both Rivali and the island right after the final battle without even checking whether or not his curse had been lifted. The only reason he noticed it is because Rivali himself returned Fight Knight's blade
@@goobaloo414 to be honest, i kinda wanted to see fight knight toss his blade, but he probably thought thatd be rude hes alot less brutish than youd expect
@@creany6081 Yup... ...except his last "line of dialogue" in the game in the epilog right before the credits started rolling was to deck Rivali in the face lol
By the summit of the tower, I had figured that Fight Knight doesn't even care about the curse anymore, he constantly seeks a greater challenge and what could by more challenging than fighting without a weapon

Very well spoken. Rivali is a good match for Fight Knight and, in turn, the player, while also being a likeable character.
fight knight is sisyphus confirmed???
@@JoeNose8 One must imagine the knight happy...

so.
Typical wish fulfillment: You ask for strength and it transforms you into abomination instead

kinda weird that Rivali Rosencranz didnt realise the reason fight knight is pursuing him might be because of the curse he put on him

The intro slaps so hard.
To match your opponent with only one arm, and he thinks thats a handicap?
Thank you!
Reminds me of a imaginary theme of Alucard if Alucard was in Marvel Vs Capcom as DLC character.
The was another rivali, the one when a character talks, where is that song?
Is there any extended version of this music?
