That's absolutely crazy! I'd love to hear and feel thunder like that. Love the way it rolls across the sky and those sharp cracks. The power of mother nature!
Ive been in storms like this but with more lightning. Its not fun. Its actually quite frightening when it knocked the power out. Pitch black and quiet, then all da sudden the whole house lights up for a split second and the extremely loud boom shakes the whole house. Its not something you can sleep through unless your dead or in coma.
My city had one storm like this during a rainy night some months ago. The thunder, which is as loud as the video’s, lasted a freaking 1.5 continuous hours. A sleepless night needless to say
because they happen several times a year and are completely safe. i recorded it for posterity because i knew i wouldnt live there forever and i would want to relive the magic... like right now!
@@KevinSweeney Dude there is nothing safe about a storm like this. That is some serious intense lightning and it could easily strike where you are. It's the LORD who controls this. That is what you are witnessing.
Why didn't recorded you longer?, it was a super storm. On the next, stay your camera on the tripod and if it come aggressive active electric storm again, please recording for 30 minutes. My favourite TStorm is ,,Moscow Heavy Thunderstorm 28.06.2013 (36:40 minutes).
It's a brilliant storm and video but it's possible there might be something wrong with the audio for this video which could explain the thunder sound effects because I've watched many thunderstorm videos and they've not been like this one, but as I said brilliant storm :)
what floor were you on? Even though I can hear a bird near by, it sounds like you're either on a higher floor or in an area where there are lots of high-rise buildings where you are.
This would have been even more amazing if the audio were binaural/stereo. In this case, I can understand why one person thought these were audio sound effects, because the audio is so compressed, so the sound is concentrated on the inner ear and more specifically, the vestibulo nerve. When you can capture the audio in binaural/stereo, it's broadly distributed in both ears as if we are right there in the office with you and hearing it live. This is much better on the ears, because compressed sound focuses the audio too much in one place. This is also why people sometimes hear a buzzing or ringing sound in their ears after listening to compressed sound for too long. Even 15 minutes can be too long, whereas you can listen to binaural sound in stereo for longer. Even if you have the volume turned down, the compressed audio can be very distorted. Think of binaural sound in stereo when compared to binocular vision.
Joe Tittle yeah,China is a rainy stormy place.Hong Kong has the record of 3 hours to have 3,600 lightnings and sometimes mega typhoons, which mean flooding and wind
I experienced a storm much worse than this once in my hometown Yichang (near 3 gorges). It scared me so much that I didn't dare to record it near the window. But what's strange is that for many years since then, thunder storms have become rarer than before.
I'm Chinese born and I tell you especially in the Summer these storms are quite frequent! I've experienced it in Wuhan as a young kid and they are violent thunderstorms
Sounds like a battlefield
Lots of positive lightning strikes! That thunder is colossal... Like bombs going off. :D
a tremendous amount of positive CGs. I would be legit scared lol

As much as fear thunderstorms, i must admit that they are beautiful
Kevin, you're so brave and courageous. God bless that you've been able to record it very prosperous ly

Moscow thunderstorm is really amazing
It sounds like lightning in one of Jupiter's storms (usually the Great Red spot)
Hats of to them who record this such a weather
WARNING BY 1:59 HOW HEAVY/DEATH METAL POUR 😈🎸⚡💣😈
The thunder sounds like a mix of bombs falling and somebody mutilating a body

no its very possible for the thunder to sound close to this. When you have a lot of positive lightning it can sound like a war going on
Looks like Kuala Lumpur storms spread

Man! Sound like bombs going off. That's a pretty bad storm 😳
I mean, it does make sense because there is allot of tall objects in the area.
