- Today, I share with you our travel day from Hua Hin to Koh Phangan. It is our first time on the island. We stayed at a cute resort called Sea Scape Resort. It is a budget friendly place that offers a quiet and tranguil view of the sea with panoramic views. It features charming bungalows nestled within lush tropical gardens, with modern amenities and traditional Thai charm. The only thing that I felt we were missing was a pool which is not one of the amenities, however, the resort is in a good location just minutes from main beach areas and did have some great restaurants within walking distance right on the beach! Dave and I always use Agoda for our bookings. You can find the link just below. Another thing we do now, is use the lounges at the airports when we have layovers. A wonderful benefit of having the American Express Platinum credit card :)

Here is the link to the American Express Platinum Card that we use to get access to airport lounges around the world, which makes travelling so much more fun.

You are staying in the best country in the world. Thank you for this video. There is not a day that goes by, that I have not seen something of Thailand. In 2 months I will be in Koh Samui.
Wonderful!!! I'm planning to go visit friends late August in Samui :)
I will miss you. I am flying on the 28th July and coming back to Perth on the 5th August. I have a hobby farm with a couple of Emu's and a couple of sheep and 4 chickens. So when you go to Koh Samui. I will be back in Perth. I have a lot of fruit trees on my property.
Fun getaway!
Oceanside that were I was raised I didn’t know they fly out usually it’s Carlsbad Palomar airport
Dave seems like one of those all-round good guy's, great couple 🙂👍
Thank you... he's a keeper ;)
Noce video guys, looks lovely, hopefully fully we will be in Thailand in November as part of our retirement world trip
My wife and I visited This very island back in 2005. Wonderful memories and beautiful beaches. I have all the confidence this trip will imprint fond memories for you. We are now in the process of exploring our options on where to live other than our home country Canada due to the political climate and extremely high cost of living here as a retiree . More info on renting or buying in Thailand would be great .
We had a wonderful visit on the island with our friends! Another video to come soon :)
I can certainly understand your reasons for considering a move... many of the same reasons why we have departed the USA! We purchased a nice villa in Hua Hin... I have a few videos on our process starting with this one... ua-cam.com/video/BfZT10UmMyU/v-deo.html
@@kimberleyssandbox Tong nai pang on koh phangan is a beautiful place to stay. Go over to Had Riin and you can arrange a 15 - 20 minute boat ride and have a beach all to yourself for the day.
Great video Kim!!!
Thanks for being my star in it!!!
Great video Kim. Dave, we all feel your pain from the travel day. We are departing in 1 week from Grand Rapids, Michigan to Chiang Mai and cannot wait to get back to Thailand. We plan to check out Hua Hin in early July.
Thank you!!! Let us know if you come our way!!! Safe travels to you!!!
Hello Kim, and Dave. I have solar panels on my roof. I have got 24 big panels. My electricity bill would be close to $500, every 2 months. Having those panels on the roof of my Hacienda. It has dropped to $150 every 2 months. But for the last 3 years . The Premier of Westen Australia has given us free electricity. I also have Solar Hart that gives me free hot water from the Sun. But in general the price of food has gone up and so is petrol. I do all my washing, vacuuming, ironing during the day. I also have 5 pond pumps that run 24/7. I have KOI fish in one pond that runs 24/7 and in the other pond. I have about 200 gold fish . These are the things I like to see, after a hard days work. But the clown I married always wanted to sit in a circus.
Great video Kim
Glad you enjoyed it!! More to come :)
Hahaha he got used to Thailand prices so when he's back in the US it's very painful spending money 😂
Exactly!!! Our quality of life is substantially better in Thailand!!!
