No question it came from the factory like that too, which surprised me. LTD has got some sauce going on with quality, them and Schecter have a good balance of price and specs. Thanks on the clean tone, that Jazz Chorus patch on my helix and that Hetfield pickup is just butter.
Very cool! I’ve never met an ESP I didn’t like. I just purchased one myself, and I have to say it’s one of my favorite guitars I’ve ever owned. The iron cross is seriously good for the money. As far as the guitar looking too signature, I don’t mind at all. I’ll rock this thing at any gig with zero regrets. Honestly the only people that would ever go “oh that’s a Hetfield signature model” are other guitar players, and if you think about it, lots of people play the Steve Vai Jem and don’t ever get much grief about it, so I’ll proudly rock my iron cross 🤘 love your channel btw!
Yeah, likely anybody outside the guitar player or Metallica spheres wouldn’t know this is a Hetfield signature. I’d play the guitar live but I do know some people like signatures like The Snakebyte or Gary Holt’s guitars because they’re a little plainer. Enjoy the guitar it is great and kicks a lot of ass. Sorry to jump in the middle of this comment but how would this guitar do playing stuff like discharge or the exploited. Not really a Metallica fan but I like the punk thrash bands. I am lefty also and the selection is a little limited. thanks, Kevin
Yeah, seems like they almost wrap around the pickup, at the very least they wrap around the edge. This and my Snakebyte were a bit of a pain in the ass to get the plastic off the pickups.

Did you take Off the plastic JH pickup covers off? Mine seems to not come off easily? And now it’s all loose? I hope I didn’t fuck anything up
