I have never watched bridgerton but I know with the whole writers strike there have been issues with new seasons everywhere. - my theory is that this was another bridgerton collection that had to be pushed out as a “holiday” set because maybe expiration purposes. I don’t think this was truly ever meant to be her holiday collection this year. I don’t know for a fact. Just a theory 🤷🏻♀️. Still a beautiful collection. I got the bronze quint and I love it.
Agreed. Why do we buy so makeup that manufactures know they need to unload because it will expire? I wonder if my collection is trash because there is no way I could use it all up in 12 months.
I can’t wait for Hudas Christmas pallet! It looks beautiful! I’m kinda over Pat McGrath. And it’s sad because her motherships used to be amazing but there starting to repeat each other, we have these shades over and over from her gees come on Pat!
I’m most interested in the first two quints especially surprisingly the bronze. I agree on the format that the blushes aren’t optimal in the big palettes but my favourite LE format is the Bridgerton where we got special shades or the special shade quads. If she came out with special quads instead of big palettes next year I feel PML would get so much hype again.
Special shades quint would KILL. Otherwise I'm a little bored. I probably would have gotten a big holiday shadow palette though, but if it was larger or her Italian formula.
I’d love a live swatch comparison video! I’d love to see the mattes of the big palette with the greens vs the all matte 6 pan palette from the Love collection. It seems like they might be similar.
I usually jump on PTM big holiday palette but i dont care for the one this year but i am so excited for the quints i will get the bundle on black friday if its still available.
My husband ordered me the entire bundle to include the cheek palettes (even though I literally own every shade of blush and highlighters haha) but even being a fair skinned girly you can make ANY blush shade work for you if you know what ya doing and ya go in with a light hand. Great video.
Thank you for a great review, Patty! I agree with your final thoughts, too, and miss the 18-pan mega palette holiday releases of the past. These all look lovely, but I definitely have most of these shades in my collection and I don’t like the blush mixed in with eyeshadows. The only one I’m looking at now is the Lunar Nightshade quint with those nice teals and amethyst shades, so I might pick that up if it goes on sale. But overall, not my favorite release.
Great, honest video. I am so glad you did this to confirm I do not need this at all. I feel like I have all of these already and am very disappointed that they're not as fun or interesting as her giant, past Holiday palettes. I even think I have the green already in last year's holiday palette. They also look too much like the quints I got last from her and so much like the Bridgerton palettes (which I also have). So, no I do not need any of this. Thanks for the beautiful looks you have created and I'm glad I saved some money this year.
Just received the Bordeaux bliss one-happy all the shimmers are very smooth and better quality than the Star Wars ones. May get some of the other ones.
I'm incredibly glad I didn't give in and bought the bordeaux quint - it looks nothing like I expected it to look and all of these shades would look terrible on me. The bronze one looks nice, I can see myself using that for travelling - but I will either buy it second hand or pick it up during a big sale. I'm so underwhelmed.

The blushes from the deeper palette, Paradise Venus and Desert Amber, mix them together. Might be similar to the Paradise Glow blush duo, but maybe more peachy. Paradise Venus should work for you, even by itself. I’m similar skin tone as you and I love it! Just go in lightly to start and see how you like it.

It was art-forward. This just gives me cheap-made Bridgerton vibes again. I ordered the Starstruck Splendor palette and the Lunar Night palette, along with the light bronzer cheek and highlighter palette. They haven’t arrived yet. But after seeing your video, I’m thinking about getting Bronze Ecstasy and Bordeaux Bliss. I also am considering getting the medium cheek palette, but I want to see what it looks like first.
The 5 pan lunar palette and the all shimmer palette are my two faves, they seem like the most unique. venusian sunrise is a good palette to compare those brown and nude shades in this
You should try the darker blush on your skin. I'm also "white" 😂 and I realised that the more darker toned blushes from Pat had the most beautiful tones ever and their really buildable and we can make them work perfectly ❤
Paradise Venus might work fine for you. I can still wear it in the winter when I’m more fair, in the winter I’m a light- medium complexion. I do wear it more in the summer, but I can wear it all year. I love paradise Venus, it’s one of my favorites! It’ll probably be pretty mixed with the lighter blush in the palette. I have paradise Venus by itself, and in paradise glow in the duo where it’s with a similar looking shade, and I love mixing them.

Yeah, Pat just keeps getting cheaper and cheaper (quality and packaging), and charging the same prices. If I'm going to get colourpop quality and packaging (which don't get me wrong isn't bad at all), I'm only willing to pay colourpop prices.

I think there were alot of colors that were too very similar and it's alot of brown reddish shade and very dark mattes ..I like the 1st big palette and that purple in the big 2nd palette looks like the mini palette she had that has that purple or looks like that purple to me..and the quints the lunar night is a definite yes but idk if I would get the other ones maybe the Bronze exctasy if I get another one but those 3 were the best to me

Lol I ordered the 2 Big palette bundle then a few hours later got the 5 pan Duo because your 20%off code I couldn't resist lol but I got my second order 2 days ago but still waiting on the first order I placed weird but it should be here tomorrow!! I'm excited!! I love how she added more Duo chrome shades!!!! The 2 5 pans I got was the more special looking ones I love but now have to get the other 2 lol ❤
Please do comparisons to pats Love Story Collection! Especially the mattes to the Iconic Infatuation palette mattes, and the Velvet Liason palette. The JD Glow shadow in the shade Opal reminds me of the shade from the starstruck splendor palette, the shimmer on top that looks kind of Champaign pink but it’s a duochrome to greenish, I think it’s called opalescent moonstone.
I feel so validated!!!!!!!! I just returned my Pat McGrath starstruck holiday pallette to Sephora. It's trash. Those matte shades are so dry and patchy. Honestly the shimmer shades aren't up to her quality either. I picked up the Bronze Ecstasy and all the pans are creamy and uber blendable.
I WAS a Pat collector but at her pricepoint I cannot afford to continue for collection sake. I skipped on the first quints she put out last year including the Star Wars stuff. I skipped the Love collection and the bronze quads and now I'll be skipping this. The colorful quints are beautiful but it's all giving Too Faced. There's just too much overlap and similarity of late. I will continue to get the large Motherships but I can't handle all this chintzy stuff of late. These items are for new customers and the true collectors. And that is fine with me. I now know I don't have to buy EVERYTHING. Wonderful video as usual Patty 🙂

Please do comparisons to pats Love Story Collection! Especially the mattes to the Iconic Infatuation palette mattes, and the Velvet Liason palette. The JD Glow shadow in the shade Opal reminds me of the shade from the starstruck splendor palette, the shimmer on top that looks kind of Champaign pink but it’s a duochrome to greenish, I think it’s called opalescent moonstone.

I feel so validated!!!!!!!! I just returned my Pat McGrath starstruck holiday pallette to Sephora. It's trash. Those matte shades are so dry and patchy. Honestly the shimmer shades aren't up to her quality either. I picked up the Bronze Ecstasy and all the pans are creamy and uber blendable.
Beautiful! I haven't purchased this yet but I loved the swatches and how they applied on your eyelid!
I WAS a Pat collector but at her pricepoint I cannot afford to continue for collection sake. I skipped on the first quints she put out last year including the Star Wars stuff. I skipped the Love collection and the bronze quads and now I'll be skipping this. The colorful quints are beautiful but it's all giving Too Faced. There's just too much overlap and similarity of late. I will continue to get the large Motherships but I can't handle all this chintzy stuff of late. These items are for new customers and the true collectors. And that is fine with me. I now know I don't have to buy EVERYTHING. Wonderful video as usual Patty 🙂
