Ha nice! I want a hammock but I'm just not committed yet. Just the thought of having to bend in a weird way to sleep on your side....I dunno. I haven't even been in one yet so I'll have to try one someday. They're pretty cheap I think right?
Looks like you got a winner there with that new screen. I know you said you don't want to put hold in the Le trap, but maybe you can find a way to mount the screen do that it hinges to one side. That way you can clear the screen without having to lift the whole thing.
Lol so the bears never seem to mess with you up there though. looks like all the time up there you kinda saw that one on the trail by Mt Baldy in the vid but of all the time you're up there, i'm just paranoid now of camping in bear country lol but I don't want it to hold me back from a good trip.
Sorry for the late reply, the bears really aren't a problem. You rarely see them. We always hang our food and the scent is off the ground so they don't smell it. I've had one face to face encounter in San Gabriel river but I was way up at the Iron Fork camp. There's more of a presence north of the Bridge to Nowhere
I have slept in a hammock under that tree a few times 😛

That's a good idea, that would be really helpful. I think I can find a way to do something like that, thanks Damon!
