Hi there, you may find this video helpful, it has some great tips and tricks to get the best out of your Ball Gouge: ua-cam.com/video/JM__H_-olgw/v-deo.html
An excellent project. Thanks for sharing. Is there a kit to convert the Mini600 into Power carver? (Seems to me that the motor unit is the same - so just need to be able to swap the 'head' - or am I being to simplistic?)
Hi Philip, the Mini Carver is a specialist/ dedicated tool so you can't change it. The Power Carving Unit is design for our attachment range (e.g. TURBO Plane, Ball Gouge..) I hope that makes sense.
Hi Leonidas, nice one. We look forward to hearing your thoughts on the Precision Carving System - it is a game-changer! In this video, the type of wood used is called 'Meranti'. Thanks :)
Hi Ruth, nicely spotted... this is one of the little beauties we have been working on and is not on the market yet.... but soon. To find out about new product releases before anyone else you can subscribe to our newsletter: bit.ly/arborlatest
Hey Bev, In this video we used the below Arbortech tools - Arbortech Mini Carver - bit.ly/arbminigrinder Arbortech Turbo Shaft - bit.ly/arbturboshaft Arbortech Contour Sander - bit.ly/arbcontoursander Yell out if you need any more information!
I know its not the same but I could program this on my cnc on 10 minutes and let it run while I do other things related to business. And yes ...cnc can put the same textures on the wood.
Amazing 👍👍👍👍
You are quite an artist! I was thinking of filling those valleys with colored epoxy.

Arbortech 😆
Is that an angle grinder with some sort of extension?
Yup, you are correct. It's our Mini Carver, and the extended head allows for carving in confined or hard-to-reach spaces a breeze.
I just purchased the Percision carving system
Very excited to use it! Do you know what species of wood that was used in this particular Carving video?

Nice! Share with us how you would do it using your CNC next time 👍
And … did you call it handmade then ???? You cańt compare CNC and handmade ,even if your Computer can do the same ( what i doubt ) .
