I personally really like suavecito products. I use the firme almost daily bc it is the only thing ive tried so far that can get my hair to do what I want and stay that way. I have this matte product too but i usually use it when im going for a more relaxed look bc i know it doesnt have the hold I need. They also have a clay out now too
I use the Matte usually when re-styling my hair later in the day after using the original palmade initially. I'll also use it over the original when styling the next day without shampooing. I prefer adding to dry hair. I found that if you apply some heat with a blow dryer helps tremendously to incorporate the product throughout your hair and provides awesome results to my fine hair. I use this technique with the original palmade as well. Try it!
I could see it being added on to an existing product or used for restyling working well
It's pretty good for what it is. I have mine and it does a good job for hold. Although, I use one coat when damped, then use the hairdryer while shaping and combing, than a second coat to reshape and give it extra hold. It hardens and it holds like hair spray. I think alone it does lack hold. Great video 👍.
It's a great product if you know how to apply correctly. The scent is great.

In my case, I've been using this pomade for 2 months, and I can say that if you have more than 5 Inches of hair, it won't work on you, or maybe for 2 or 3 hours. If you need strong hold, I recommend the Suavecito Firme Hold or instead of that you can use a volumizer powder + Suavecito Matte Pomade.

I have very straight hair that's difficult to style. I've tried so many products and nothing seems to be able to hold the way I want it to throughout the day. I recently tried Suavecito Firme Hold and while it does hold better than most products I've used, I don't like how sticky and shiny it leaves my hair looking. Can anyone recommend a product with more of a natural matte finish with a good hold for straight hair? All I'm trying to do is comb the top of my hair over.

so the hair should be wet when we use the pomade?
It’s preference. I think it makes application and styling easier on most products.
It works far better if you put in in dry hair, then put small amounts of water on your hands after you rubbed it in, and then rub a bit of water in. I mean, entirely 100% better and you can control the amount of moisture you are locking in. Once you apply to damp hair, well thats what you have to work with for the rest of the day

they have a tutorial video showing that u need to blow dry after applying on damp hair.
You can use it however you want, but depending on the style blow drying will work too
What matte product with strong hold u think is best out now
Personal fav is Iconic Pomade Graveyard Mud, but I’m pretty sure it’s seasonal. Should be around the corner with summer ending soon
I only use it when going to the beach. it makes the top of my head white like sunblock

Even though it does say Matte finish, it doesn't look matte to the point that it looks like plastic hair. It still does have some natural shine to it.
It depends on how it’s used too!
@@TheWorkmansPomp I think the general rule with pomades is that if it's used more wet, shine will be higher, and if its drier, the shine will be lower.
