Yes. I think it likely that Harry believes her--at this point. I think at the beginning Harry may have had a smidgen of doubt, as evidence by his reaction to some of Meghan's statements in the Oprah interview. He had a facial expression of hesitation, as if he wanted to say something. However, he didn't. He doubled down on believing her, likely because she was saying she connected with his mummy.
Now I think Harry is totally out of touch with reality. He is in the Montecito bubble. Until he breaks free from this, (maybe go see Thomas Markle and ask some questions?), he is stuck. IMO.

She also wanted a red carpet, which is reserved for heirs. The Queen offered her blue, but she refused that and ended up with no carpet at all. This, and other refusals, by protocol, of her whims sowed the seeds of her discontent, jealousy and anger at not getting her own way.
