I feel like my chickens are much more productive when you give them something to do

In Arkansas, we have 22, 6 months old Rhode Island Red chickens that has been raised inside since babies. We plan to move them out to outside new home area with 6ft-by-6ft chicken tractor (same asJustin Rhode) that will be inside a 25ft by 25ft of 48" tall Premier electric fence. We plan to use chicken tractor as non-mobile coop for now but may move later in the future as this is our first time doing all this, so we are trying this way out. Will they have enough room to move around inside electric fence and will this be enough to keep safe from predator like neighbor's dogs, coyotes, possums, raccoons, etc... Oh, we also plan to put shade cloth on top area to protect from flying predators...GOSH! so many to do for them. Any advice/tips/recommendations would greatly appreciate.

That's awesome Mandie. I actually just moved some of our pullets on pasture and I made a video showing how we run them on pasture. The video will run April 27th and hopefully give you some ideas but it sounds like you are going to have a pretty solid setup. 👌

Did you ever add worms to the yard or did the worms discover it naturally?

It varies from season to season but mostly wood chips, vegetable produce and lawn clippings mixed with some form of animal manure. Thanks!

I grew up on a farm and my parents always told me not to scrap meat to the chickens. Can they eat meat, other animals? I know they will.
