See what happens when Host Deborah Duncan of CBS Television's Great Day Houston interviews Dr. D Ivan Young and a caller confesses she's involved with a married man and ask what should a woman do when she discovers she's involved with a married man.
I don't think you answered the first lady's question. I feel like you blamed her for taking too long to find out. Regardless if she saw clues that he was married or not this does happen. If it's been 3 weeks, 3 months, or 3 years once the woman finds out how does she disconnect her feelings? That is a very hard situation. You're torn between still loving this man and hating him for doing this to you. Most women don't want to be the other woman.

I''ve heard from multiple women that they were dating a man who was married and didn't know but luckily only one date or for a month. I think it is possible to hide it very well. I met several women who divorced their husbands because they cheated with women while they traveled for work. One was living with another woman for 5 years and neither woman knew that he was with the other. I do think he was harsh but as soon as she knew she should have broke it up. The shame should be on the liar not the person who wasn't like a private investigator and tracked down all of his information.

The same thing happened to me. He would stay at my house for almost a week at times. Met his child and grandchild even his dog AT his house. Did not know he was married and living with his wife!

yes I agree. He was rude to her feelings and harsh. I feel bad that she was neglected. She is hurt and wants to know how to move forward and get over it. That is her question.
This guy answered the first lady's problem horribly. He didnt even address her issue and acknowledge what she was saying. He went to place the blame. Very BAD Counseling advise.
I really dont like the way he is responding to the first woman. Just another case of blame everything on the woman.
You have to be ready for the hard truth before you can change your situation. I get having chemistry and feeling attraction for people, but don't take harmful actions against yourself.

the Same thing happened to me too I dated a guy for almost 4 months and he said he is divorced .but I found out he is still married..until now I'm still broken hearted but I want to get rid of this heart break..I forgive him for being a liar and same time a liar..he told me he loves me and he give him chance to do the papers si he is totally free but every time I see his Facebook saw them going outside and dating.eating dinner with friends and that makes me more sad so I don't want to listen to him no more I'm already tired and emotionally exhausted. so I decided to let him go .

The minute a woman meets a guy she’s interested in, you can bet she went on social media and checked out his whole life! These women know!
It surprises me just how capable people are of lying. This guy is naive at best if he thinks she saw signs. They can hide it very well.
In my situation I met him as a referred handyman. After 5 years, yes, I have feelings.We have not been intimate but he craves to see me and manages to either call or come by once a week. He is married I know but I also have feelings and it was one of those instant things. Believe me I feel ashamed and guilty. I have tried breaking it off a number of times but we always end up seeing each other again whether he has work to do for me or just visiting. I know it would be difficult for me to tell him I don't need your handyman services (he does excellent work) and say I don't want to see you anymore. I will be 72 in about a month and I do enjoy his company so much

You date someone for THREE YEARS and you never meet any of his family? Never met any of his friends? Or you did and they ALL LIED to you believably?
I do NOT BELIEVE you can date someone for three years and not meet someone else in the person's life that didn't give their marital status away in one way or the other.
