After playing the majority of the AC games the past 5 years myself you do notice when they change things up artistically in terms of world design. I do miss the huge cramped cityscapes pre AC Origins though, really fun to parkour around.
Yeah, I enjoyed Valhalla a lot, but I´d love if next entry was again focused on one city. What Ubi did in Unity was stunning, imagine what they could do with current technology. Also I know AC always was set in historical times, but I would freak out if Ubi would make one entry in a scifi settings. They could create whole new lore and let their imagination of the hook.

i've been playing Valhalla every waking moment possible which means last few weekends have been filled with gaming. i'm 84 hours in and i don't regret a second spent playing it. the visuals are beautiful and the story is interesting. it has also inspired me to draw more which is a big plus. 9/10, would recommend

This series has inspired me to start collecting art books myself. Will you only cover game/movie art books or would you make an exception for Guweiz's art book? I think you'll get a similar appreciation for it. Regardless keep up the good content!
I wish you made an interview with Mr. Lacoste flipping through the whole artbook and talking about the process behind. I got the book but it's not the same without commentary haha
This art looks so good! I'm definitely going to pick up this book soon. Though, I laughed a little bit when you said the designs are faithful to history. Ehhhhh.....not quite. The thing that really sticks out to me is the amount of "barbaric" fur the characters wear. iirc, if fur was worn during this time by the Norse, it was most likely used as trim in garments or hats. And that's not to mention that roman looking soldier from the trailer wielding a late 14th century sword in a 9th century world. haha But that's okay. It's fantasy and looks cool at the end of the day. ;)
Odyssey was such a great game, so many interesting characters. Too bad many hate ubi on whatever they do, or simply didn't like the game, was such a nice experience for me
I wish Ubisoft's optimization was this good, so we could play on lower end PC , but thats not it. loved the art of this book, saw some of them on artstation artsblast. Thanks Adam for making this video as always.
I stayed up til 3 am on ps5 launch and due to target’s site having errors I ended up with 2. I already gave it to a family member but If I hadn’t I would try to get it too you. Hope you get one soon! I know they come back in stock black friday at most places.
