I got a fatal JavaScript error when i tried to open the shorcut, and the original isn't opening at all. Maybe because of the previous DiscordSetups I installed from a year earlier?

@@MuruganS I've got a little problem with this method and i don't know whether it's my pc or if that just doesn't work. The thing is that the method itself which you described does indeed work. However if I do this with my admin account and try to give other users of the pc permission to the folder "DiscordSetup" the other users can see the folder just like they should. But if I try to open discord on those accounts, then there's just a message "a fatal error has occured".
It seems like it has something to do with the path of file. But still....its kinda dumb that the permission i give other users to this folder cannot allow them to open discord. I'm only on the admin account capable of opening discord
Do you have an idea how it could work out for my other users too so that the permission on this folder is not completely useless?
Right, that's what I was thinking because all the other apparent "fixes" were fuck all because I wouldn't even get an icon to pop up yet all of them showed on or said run as admin lol this guy seems to know his stuff

Guys! I found a fast way on how to do it, click the task bar (bottom ofscreen) then right click then click 'task manager' then click more details, find discord, right click and then click end task.
Edit: If discord doesnt open use this method aswell

Tip: if it doesn’t have “send to” drag the file out and on to your desktop and then drag it back into the folder, I had to do that because I didn’t have the “send to” and I almost gave up but decided to drag it out and it worked
