Kieran Culkin's Royish charm on show in early interview (2010)

As the audience of the HBO hit series Succession has grown and grown over the past years, more and more people have commented on the similarities between Kieran Culkin and his character Roman Roy. Those similarities were on display in August 2010, when Culkin attended the UK premiere of Edgar Wright's Scott Pilgrim vs. the World in London. Even though it was a full eight years before Roman Roy would first swear his way onto people's screens in August 2018, Culkin's mischievous answers to the interviewer's questions - and the chaos of the interview in general - seem eerily evocative of the youngest Roy sibling.
The much-anticipated series finale of Jesse Armstrong's Succession will air on Sunday 28 May 2023.
