You have a great channel Patera! I have always enjoyed it.
Especially when you focus anything on Native Americans.
Thank you for the quality and best wishes.
Great appreciate this! Many, many thanks! xo
You never replied when I asked you about Tslagi heritage . I was't trying to be nosey, just wanted to share similar backgrounds. Love the videos !
Woman you have unlimited energy! I can't believe you are incubating in the middle of a move! I'm impressed. You make me look like a slacker by comparison, LOL. Good luck with the hatch! ~Cynthia
I like your hat. I love hens and roosters.
Papa goose is doing his job! Cant wait for babies.
Looking forward to seeing the little guys ...
Beautiful Comfrey there in the beginning.
oh my goodness this was the neatest video. I lived close to a farm when I was young and we saw candling of eggs but when you turn that one, as soon as you started turning it that little baby moved it was wow 🤗
Good afternoon Patera. I always look so forward to your videos. I love your sassy humor, your talent and your wisdom. Thank you for sharing a bit of your life with us.
Looking good !!!
Mama goose has so many potential babies on her hands!!
How much Fun!!! I love to see geese on a pond or grazing and raising babies.
This video has really helped me with my goose candeling! Thank you!!
Awesome!!
Oh how I love candeling! I’m gonna do turkey eggs next! So excited!
Congrats...and I ❤ the quilt square on your coop.
Nice to watch a good old homesteading video for once.. Not just in the backdrop of the virus going on.. Have a nice Easter weekend! 🐣
Goose eggs. Lol. I love the first rooster that you filmed. His colors are gorgeous. Thanks for the candling. Never saw that before. Love your channel!! Many thanks .
Bless your heart Patera! We had the African geese when we were growing up! They make amazing watch dogs as well! Love, Love, Love the babies!!!
Congrats! :)
Awww that was so awesome. I saw the movement before you said look. I loved hatching chickens when I was able to have them. I have not had any in 10 years now. Wish I knew when we moved what I know now.
New babies a comin
That was neat to see. Really enjoy your vids. Especially the baby goats!
I love spring with all the new life!!!!!

Love them. Can't wait for them to hatch!!! X O
Love the sights of the farm in your videos.
Thank you for sharing ❤️
How many lumens is the flashlight youre using? Can you do more videos on goose eggs please? There’s barely any videos on geese!
Hony honk .... Houston, we have movement! Take care Patara.
Hurry up and hatch (-:
Question? I purchased goose eggs off eBay. The lady said they had already been under her goose for a week. These-eggs arrived in 3 days but were rotting. She tried to tell me since she had already started incubating she should have been fine? She argued that she shipped pre incubating eggs all the time with success? These eggs had NO veining and smelled terrible. What do you think of shipping pre incubated goose egg shipping?
NO. Absolutely NOT fine and she is clueless. Eggs that are sent to you should NEVER have been incubated prior to shipment. Get your money back asap.
Hey sister in Christ I just found well my five year old found goose egg we need help don't know if it's worth getting incubator or not don't know if it's a good egg or not
Good luck with all four goose eggs. Remind me why you incubate these eggs and not leave them with the female?
Does it matter if the eggs are days apart? do you have to change the timing if they don't hatch at same time?
If you put them in on the same day... there should not be much difference. They start "cooking" at the same time so development should be close!
I was told they always need a pond to breed, do you have one?
Thanks, Patara. Very interesting. It could only be better if you sang.
Is it bad to clean eggs before putting them in ? I've questioned myself with that a couple of times with chicken eggs. Are goose eggs stronger than chicken eggs in the ways of the layers of the egg?
I would not. Not with these little incubators. The time distance in hatch rates is my reason.
Brushing off excess dirt and straw and so forth is fine but certainly don't fully wash with water or You'll remove the protective Bloom.
