- A long overdue update!
We are moving into the house! (We can’t believe we are saying that 😂).
The house is not finished yet, but we need to be in and start getting our possessions over. The first week was a bit challenging as the septic system was not connected and then had some issues , but we overcame them. There is still no hot water or ventilation, those two milestones will make it far more comfortable as it’s extremely hot during this video and it’s an almost airtight house with no ventilation and no handles on the windows to let air in! Tune in to the next update as hopefully those will be in progress as this video goes out!

@@Solo50plus well you know where we are! I know it’s the little things in life, but I had my first hot shower! Thanks to our amazing plumber! Back tomorrow to finish off, but hot water!!!😂😂😂😂

amazing total of cost?
Still ongoing, but it will be interesting to add it all up in the end. Including two extra years of travelling and accommodations we were not expecting to have to fund. Plus replacing all our furniture we sold before moving. Plus all the extras we insisted on because we wanted comfort in our retirement. But the way we see it is that we are investing in a comfortable retirement in the most environmentally friendly and cost effective way. What cost do you put on that??? 😁
