Amsterdam Tram Cruise Port Terminal to Centraal Station & Back

- After our Norwegian Cruise Line excursion to Keukenhof which returned us to the Amsterdam cruise terminal, we wanted to go take a canal cruise. It was an easy DYI transport using public tram from the cruise terminal to Centraal Station, where you will have several options to take a canal cruise . The video breaks down the costs and shows you what it is like on the tram. You can also walk to the Central Station yourself, but it will take about 20 minutes. It was very window and chilly, so we used this tram, and we were happy with the decision.
Very helpful. Thanks for posting.
horrible camera work. almost no narration. at the stops, no idea where we are in relation to anything. how do we get back to the ship from the stop? how do we get into the train terminal? where is the stop in relation to the train station? how do we find the stop at both ends/ waste of effort.
For sure could've done better- didn't make the best videos back then. Appreciate the feedback!
Is credit card an accepted form of payment for the Tram? And at 2:30 what does conductor mean by checkout? If you have to scan travel card to get off Tram? Seems confusing.
I believe that they only take credit cards and other non-contact forms of payment now. By checking out it means that you scan your transport card at the card readers near the door of the tram until you see a green light and hear a beep. That way the system knows that you've exited. How much one way us dollars
I think now it's about $4 for one hour and $10 for the whole day.
