Great video! Very helpful for my upcoming Iceland cruise
Glad it was helpful!
Did the same cruise in June.
I loved it so much, that after coming back I booked another one, around Europe, which departs on the 22nd of October . 😊
Prima is absolutely perfect, in my opinion.
It really is a nice ship. Have a great cruise!
@@theseasonedexpats I already went on the cruise, in June 2023. Going to another one, on N.Gem in 3 days.
Even though I'm a poorer son of a b****, I've been on over 20 cruises and I think this was a really good review honest and I appreciate that. I'll be on the prima in three weeks
Awesome! We hope you have a great time!
We are taking the prima next week. How did you get from the ship into Amsterdam? Was it walkable?
@@bettyelder3389 Yes, you can walk into Amsterdam from the port. It is maybe a 25-minute walk into the main square from the port. We decided to take a taxi into town and then walked back towards the ship seeing all the sights on the way!
@@theseasonedexpats thanks!
That ocean looks pretty rough. What time of the year did you go? My husband and I will be sailing on the Prima from Iceland to South Hampton in early September.
Have fun on that cruise! It will be a good time no matter what hopefully! We sailed in August.
Great video - we are visiting Amersterdam in October off a Norweigan cruise and didn’t have any idea what to do. We didn’t love the organized cruise excursions being offered. Looks like my husband and I love doing the things you guys did so thanks for the ideas. Did you walk to all the locations? Are you able to walk from the cruise port to the things you saw and did?
Glad it was helpful! We were not too excited about the excursions either. We felt like maybe we would not have enough time to walk everywhere, so we did take a taxi from the cruise port over to Vondepark (the farthest away from the port that we got) and were able to comfortably walk back through the city and see everything without other modes of transportation. If you walk fast you could probably make it work without the taxi!
Hi. Just discovered your You Tube channel. My wife, daughter, and I are taking the same Norwegian Prima cruise as you did. I would love to be able to ask you guys some questions if possible
Wow that sounds like a fun trip! Feel free to reach out to our business inquiry E-mail in the About section on our home page. You can go to our home page and then click the little side arrow in our about section to find the E-mail (sorry cannot type in the comments 😊).
How you guys get back to the prima cruise ship ftom the city center of Amsterdam?
Hello! We actually walked. The port is right next to the city center and if you are up for a 25 minute walk or so it is doable - otherwise there are plenty of taxis as well that charge somewhat modest rates.
Thank you very for taking a time to reply. We are going the same cruiese in june 2024 .
Worst cruise line ever, we booked several excursions via NCL and they were canceled due to “logistical” reasons. We used viator, get your guide and local cruise bookings at a substantial savings. Furthermore, the food was awful and dining areas insufficient. Don’t use NCL to book transport to/from airport to ports…NCL was charging $170 pp for bus transport….use fly bus and it’s only $31 pp in Iceland and national bus to get from London to south Hampton for a mere 11 £.
