Big fan of the jump cuts to let the players describe the decks. Definitely takes more effort but really added that extra oomf for me! Well done, you earned my like!
In this exciting episode: Jared marries a dragon, Faldorn stomps into a local Jared's location tracking in so much wolf poo the jewelry store is forced to close for cleaning. Atarka, life partner of Jared, gets wind that Jared may be courting Urza and flies into a rage, killing Urza. The local Jared's takes longer than expected to reopen, angering the owner's partner, who then gets revenge on Faldorn. In doing so, it's discovered that Jared planned on marring multiple partners in order to commit insurance fraud. Will Jared survive the wrath of Atarka? Find out on this episode: "Hell hath no fury like a dragon lover scorned!" Man, Universes Beyond: SCG lore is a bit like a telanovela.
What a great fun silly game. Love the light hearted energy at this table. Corey is fun and entertaining to watch and I like the banter he brings to the table. GG and keep it up fellas. Jons big ole biceps get me every time.
53:53 As per the Lorwyn primer on Hideaway: * The land's last ability allows you to play the removed card as part of the resolution of that ability. Timing restrictions based on the card's type are ignored (for instance, if it's a creature or sorcery). Other play restrictions are not (such as "Play [this card] only during combat"). So no, don't need to obey timing.
How on theme that Jeremy was the only person to correctly follow the guidelines of this nights game, while everyone else either misunderstood or dittled around with it lmao
Jon: "Get better politics, Jeremy." *Next time on Commander Versus Series* Jeremy: "So I have this wad of cash I'm gonna be handing to Director Justin and I now have 500 points. Suck it." *knocks over everyone's decks*
I love this version of Urza. I'm not a creature guy, I love Artifacts and spinning my wheels but this version of urza hits both of those with creatures!
Could be wrong but even if he cultivates first John didn't have the red pips for his dragon since garenbrig is creatures only. Since after he only had garenbrig and one mountain open.
I remember sometimes you guys show the commander on screen when they are mentioned, but during this intro they seem to be missing. 2 of them I remember what they are, but the others I can't remember by name :P
Jeremy had to set up a hideaway land and an adventure and then get lucky enough to trigger the hideaway condition and then get lucky enough to have multiple cascades. That's a lot of work to get that much upside. It was very sweet. EDHRec shows it in only 1% of eligible decks and it's more often because it fits in spider tribal, though cast from exile decks are in the running, and, oddly, a Reach tribal deck.
@@markbrierley6367 yeah that was definitely a high roll on the sweet gum. I misread the card though, didn’t know every creature that entered could get +3/3. Faldorn is the perfect deck for it
So is like Justin gone gone then. Bros been dealing with the family issues for a minute. Not that there are time frames for grief but sheesh I miss his face on vs.
@@djbisson9819 he's said in interviews, that he decided to try something new and move to something else. I did see him giving live commentary on cubecon draft. His Twitter also has most up to date goings ons
The point is Boolean. You either killed with Commander damage and get the point or you didn't. All of the positive points are like this. They changed it way, way back when someone built a deck to farm multiple points off saving people.
Please, for the love of God, get rid of that music. Even this level of noise interference is enough for me to have to replay parts over and over to try to hear what the guys are saying. Jon didn't have enough mana in the same phase on the turn he cast Cultivate and Dragon Mage to do both. The Garenbrig taps for 6 but only for creatures and it's all green meaning he'd need to spend 5 from the Garenbrig plus 2 red and then have another 3, but one of the 3 available to him can only cast creatures. Green Slime destroys the source of the effect it counters if that source is an artifact or enchantment. I would have liked to know what enchantment Corey put on his flyer. It wasn't announced and wasn't added in the edit. Corey's denigration of Stephen's deck philosophy is emblematic of his current, apparent understanding of Commander as a format. Doing "stupid" things that make the whole table laugh is more aligned with the spirit of the format than playing a deck that takes multiple extra turns such that it causes consternation from one's opponents. I really enjoyed having deck techs back. I loved how much the gang enjoyed the Jared deck. This episode reminded me of Chair tribal and others like it. Good show. I hope we get a gift Arena of the Arbitrary sometime soon with at least a couple great stinkers.
Bring parnel back. Corey is the worst decision you guys have ever made. I havent watch a single episode since hes joined. Ive watched all of them up til he showed up. You lost a sub and viewer.
But anyway much respect :D I know these few words without any constructive criticism are just worthless and I feel just like another stupid hater from the internet but you just give me that vibe of annoying kid from neighborhood being all loud and cocky and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that especially from the show perspective :D it’s just me and my subjective point of view, sorry for sounding like total douchebag ;d

id prefer if it was at the start of episode rather than some seeming random turn 2/3
After watching older episodes and newer ones, I think this group is the best to watch
Kudos to Stephen for the theme deck. It was a pretty hilarious gimmick. Thanks as always for the content and entertainment 🙂
31:59 "Yeah, it's our first dog together." Wasn't just the theme deck, but the role playing throughout.
I didn’t think #TeamGreen could ever top the fun of chair tribal, and yet… I might be jumping where the grass is #Verde
they just released a spoiler for Sylvok Battle-Chair, maybe one day we get an upgraded version😂
Ayy they have the deck tech back in videos. Good

Stephen literally made this episode a comedy. I cried laughing, lol!
Didn’t Jeremy’s ooze blow up the ring? When it countered the ability? It doesn’t matter at all, but when Jon blew it up himself I had that thought
"Bazaar Trader would never block, he's a salesman." is the quote of the episode.
What a great fun silly game. Love the light hearted energy at this table. Corey is fun and entertaining to watch and I like the banter he brings to the table. GG and keep it up fellas. Jons big ole biceps get me every time.
Love the editing choice for deck intros

The ring deck needs to go against chair tribal

Rooting for Jeremy so much. He's playing my favorite commander of 2022.
Maybe I missed it before, but adding the deck tech after the game has started… Nice touch, whomever is editing this!
Jon: "Get better politics, Jeremy."

Love getting deck techs back! I’m not super sure about the placement of them? But I did love Cor’s deck tech
Management loved it too.
I’ve been waiting for this one!!
I'd love to play a game with Jeremy, solely because he is the only adult in this group and the stories he could tell would be amazing 😂
Goofy fun episode, bravo as usual
Did they drink before this episode? They were having so much more fun than usual. Loved it.
I love this version of Urza. I'm not a creature guy, I love Artifacts and spinning my wheels but this version of urza hits both of those with creatures!
That was our goal! I wanted it to have a little something for everyone!
I miss the days of watching Justin Parnell getting milled and Bojuka bogged....
This was one of the funniest episodes I've ever seen, Stephen was on fire lmao
Dropping some love for all the Dominaria United full art lands 😍
Could be wrong but even if he cultivates first John didn't have the red pips for his dragon since garenbrig is creatures only. Since after he only had garenbrig and one mountain open.
Hoping to see a video that is as fun and funny as the last video scg uploaded: D
Stephen, you're a gem. One that would look great on a ring if you will
The return of deck techs!
Stephen arguing semantics of "Casting" is SO funny to me!
6:38 John I said those lands dragon are dragons born means there only 50% dragons
I remember sometimes you guys show the commander on screen when they are mentioned, but during this intro they seem to be missing. 2 of them I remember what they are, but the others I can't remember by name :P
Bubble gum, bubble gum, in a dish, how many suspend triggers did jeremy miss??
None from the look of it. I went back to rewatch after reading this and couldn't find any misses.
I think after Justin left the show Jeremy took up the mantle of person who gets bullied lol 😂
I want to play with Stephen Green so bad dude 😂 he's ridiculous
I just wanna say with all the Corey hate that I love Corey if your seeing this I LOVE YOU keep your head up you have an amazing personality !
Yay! Deck techs back! I'd prefer them to appear before the game starts, though
I had similar thought for a “rings” deck. I was gonna call it the “Shabba Ranks” deck lol.
Another classic John and Steven mess around
Could you please show commanders in introducing part? Would be really helpful. Thanks for your work!
Liquimetal Torque something on your field to make it an artefact (Commander so 6 mana value), cast One with the machine to draw 6 cards!! :O
nice video, just sometimes wish corey's dial could get turned back to a 7 or 8 instead of 11 all the time. it's a bit too intense
Jank episode! Let's go! Say, like 25-30$ total, including commander. Would love to see their wrinkly brains on that.
That's not how Ward works, you can't take it back once you targeted it.
Put a ring on it ~ Stephen Green 2023
I hereby propose to #TeamGreen. 😁
Corey had only 1 blue source when he cast Whirler Rogue.
COMEDY TRIBAL DECKS PLEASE! CHAIR DECK, HE WENT TO JAREDS DECK ETC PLEASE!!!
It’s been a long two weeks!
I loved this so much lol
Props to everyone choosing a cool deck, except for Jon bending the rules again and picking a commander from 7 years ago
Holy sheet, sweet gum is insane.

Each episode the group laughs more and more it's just hilarious and I love the upgrade from the Parnell to Corey, just amazing
Where do you all play at
"There's a possibility I made my deck worse" 😂
It’s about damn time I was going through withdrawal
fun vid : )
How is it 5 for team Green?
Aw yeahh missed this content.
And I miss justin
Can anyone explain the points system to me? Or direct me to a video that explains them? I'd like to try this with my buds this weekend
Crab bell when?
Is the price point for lightly smacked cards in-between lightly played and heavily damaged? 🤣
Team Green. WOOT WOOT
So is like Justin gone gone then. Bros been dealing with the family issues for a minute. Not that there are time frames for grief but sheesh I miss his face on vs.
he has a youtube channel now
Yikes just over 1k subs. I’ll check it out thanks.

Didn't artarka deal 26 commander to Steven so shouldn't john get 2 points for killing with his commander since it took Corey out too

Comment about Corey being Annoying is annoying
But he is annoying 😂
Reply about Corey being great is great
He's definitely no Justin. My problem with Cory is he reminds me too much of Saffron Olive when I hear him speak.
He makes these videos very close to unwatchable
The music playing under the game is worse.
Should be 6 points for team green
kavu leave combat if it gains a new controller.
They did that.
Stephen's deck idea is what we need a lot more of - nonsense.
Beast within take back when its countered by ward is not cool
Please, for the love of God, get rid of that music. Even this level of noise interference is enough for me to have to replay parts over and over to try to hear what the guys are saying.

He doesn’t pay attention to any of his triggers or abilities
I'm so glad Stephen decided to make a joke that wasn't even funny. Why would we want to watch all of them play to win. Can you guys fire him already?
Corey is so annoying, almost like me commenting about this second time x)
Thank you so much for the great feedback!
Huh dude? Corey and Steven are easily my favorites, I think ur wrong on that one
@CoreyBMTG don't listen to this nerd, you're amazing 🤘
