Really impressed with coil repair. I've completely destroyed coils before trying to do the same thing. Glad to see you putting out content again man keep on trucking
Glad your back. Really enjoyed your supermarket videos. I just recently picked up the field piece micron gauge when my blu vac was misbehaving. Really happy with the FP so far
Do you think you could make a helpful video for the basics for sequence of operations on most walk in coolers or helpful tips for making wiring easier.
So i had siimiar hole on aluminum coil but it was facecing down as i cleaned it and i heated up with mal gas it was hard to bring it to teno then when it got temp it would stick.
Hello man, nice job, just one thing, when removing the old filter, if you braze it you are spreading all humidity that may be trapped in the core into the installation, I know it's a lot easier to unbraze and braze. I read in Danfoss installation manual for refrigeration technicians along with many other tips.
Man I don't repair aluminum coils, i'd be scared of that call back. I've seen guys repair them and quote out the coil to be replaced regardless. So if the customer denies it, it's not on us
Nice & easy, low (heat) & Slow tis was shaky but very satisfying braze (or soder?) Bummer about the micron gauge. Always a great day when you upload Rookie
Im a electrician (not a HVAC tech) am i having issues understanding how to hook up a couple new trenton condensor units. Is there a way i can contact you or you could contact me?
I used to do stuff like back in the 80's when i was new. But i learned it's better for the customer and everyone involved to just replace the condenser. Are the customers welfare bums? Charge for a new condenser coil ! As anyone at the factory will tell you, and i have talked to them many times, that is a defective coil and other leaks are probable . I guess the maintenance guy is an illegal who should be deported so you couldn't film him. Worthless undocumented workers from Mexico give the HVAC trade a bad name.
He shows his face in the video and documents his experience on his entire channel. And who cares what you think is better? Not everyone can afford it, period. Keep your ignorance to yourself.
Take the gauge..put in freezer 30 min. Next put rubbing alcohol inside the sensor cap. Shake with finger...blow out with low pressure nitro and shake every 30 sec. Try to use again. If it won't work...replace it, sensor is bad
Works better if you put a slight vacuum on the system
Wow your amazing ❤
I was watching your video on lg multi video unit that u were starting up with Manny in Dallas area. Great video!

Great video buddy 👍
Good job brother
Good to see you back at sharing vids
Cuídate mucho de el calor y el alto voltage soldado
Filter first, no. You acknowledged the possibility of replacement if the repair failed. Why waste a filter.
Good job. Real work, not theory.
A little bit of alcohol in micron gauge will usually correct inaccurate readings.
Likely oil or contaminants on the sensor of your micron gauge. Try cleaning it with alcohol 8:41

The microchannel is a product to reduce costs in a fight against the competition, and the manufacturers know it.
You should press the calibration button on the micron gauge to fix that problem
great to hear from you buddy!!

Try the fieldpiece vacuum MG44
You did well dude 😊
Big Dawgggg 👍💪🏽

Key thing was that your solder stuck. Being rusty is all good. I’ve only soldered on aluminum 1 time and it was horrible but it held lol.
Keep ‘em comin brother

True but I think it’s minimal. Especially when you’re still pulling a vacuum.

Great repair. As long as it’s holds, good to go.
❄️💪👍🇺🇸
Pul a little vacuum next time and it will be easier
Prematurely feeding the rod. Happens to the best of us 😂😂😂
You know NAVAC sucks when you have two identical products and they both are broken.
You may have exposed it to positive pressure. Clean with mineral spirits. If that dont work warranty, then use the bluvac. Its better.
That’s the thing with all these damn micron gauges. How do you really know they’re reading right?
Exactly
Clean them w rubbing alcohol
you might need to clean the sensor of the micron gauge with alcohol
2 smokes and coffee vacuum time is better than no vacuum 😂
😂😂

This is why i hate micro channel
Micron gauges are a waste of time and money.
