Fall rye harvest w/ Case IH 9230 combines and grain cart

Harvesting Hazlet open pollinated fall rye in western canada (manitoba) on our family farm with two case IH 9230 combines, versatile tractor and brent grain cart. Baling with a 7724 massey ferguson tractor and a 2270xd square baler.

Why did you all swath the rye and not take it standing?
