Nobody noticed that, the 1/4 mile took like minute and half or maybe longer. Both cars should be 9 sec cars 😀. I could push my car for 1/4 mile in that time😆. I know it's a motion picture and it would not be as cinematic, if the race was over in 9 sec.
Tokyo Drift is so underrated. The way Justin Lin filmed those races compared to the action in F&F, Fast Five and Furious 6 is incomparable. Yes I love those other movies too, but Tokyo Drift’s races just hit different.

@@chinobills Tokyo drift is a master piece compared to the newer f&f movies. It’s definitely not better than f&f 1 and 2f2f. Tokyo drift has the lowest grossing in the franchise.

The crazy thing about Paul walker is that he was a car enthusiast and seeing him being so confident in racing despite his rocky relationship with Dom is mind blowing
This is the real beauty of whole franchise, i wish the races get back in upcoming movies, otherwise after F7, franchise has already lost it's roots.

Actually Yes if you pause the video at the very end you'll see that the Brian's Supra just edges past the Dom's Charger.

Tokyo Drift had the most realistic and practical racing. It's the best.
Usually one wouldn’t call drifting, racing. Although that was the coolest cars and car centered movie.

Simply put, the best F&F films released. This is where it was at, racing and car tuning. It all went downhill beginning with the 4th imo. In those days it was all about F&F and NFS games and I have great memories of sharing both franchieses with friends. Thanks for the upload.

Tokyo Drift deserves more respect than it’s given. Sure it’s not the best, but it’s still pretty grounded compared to later films. Still happy they brought characters into the main group.

Did you know that in fast and furious 2 when brian and roman bet the cars against the american cars, brian remembers this scene since he could not be at the level of toretto's charge therefore he told roman to save in nitrogen at the end, so that they were at the level, that's why brian remembered that it was impossible to beat those cars in speed
The power slide towards the camera is so freakin clean.

Tokyo Drift was one of the best. Pure racing no shenanigans and the vibe of Tokyo was cool as hell. And a lot of sweet ass cars.

LoL. Definitely a goof up from the film crew. They had several copies of the cars that they would swap in and out for different purposes when needed. Only the "Hero 1" car which is what they called the main car on set would be the one that was kitted out all the way with everything. You see this mix up happen several times in the movie. 😆

The original movie and Toyko drift are easily the best 2 movies in this entire franchise. Real stunt driving, somewhat legitimate storylines (the editing and script in TD is terrible though). Bring this back.

I seen the first one in theaters with my wife, The final race in that movie is the best race scene out of all the movies.
I just realized that with every Fast film, we get one step closer to a SpeedRacer film

Tokyo Drift and NFS Carbon give off the same vibe.
The Fast and The Furious showed 4 Street Racing scenes, 2 Fast 2 Furious has 3 Street Racing scenes, Tokyo Drift feature's 4 scenes of Street Racing, Fast and Furious 4 featured only one Street Race, saying goodbye to Tuner cars and moving on the next phase. Fast Five show has the Million Dollar Quater Mile Racing scene, Fast and Furious 6 has two Racing scenes with Dom vs Brian and the London Race between Letty and Dom, Furious 7 brings back Race Wars at the beginning of the movie, The Fate of the Furious 8 has the Cuban Mile Race, which I didn't really car for. Finally Fast 9 gave us two Racing flashback scenes with the Stock Car Race and Dom vs Jakob Street Race. Hopefully Fast and Furious 10 will show a Street Race in LA or Race Wars at the beginning of the movie.
There are no "original 3". Tokyo Drift was a spin-off, not a sequel. Fast 4 was the actual sequel!

One of the memorable fast and furious series franchise movie and the whole fast and furious street racing scene,back in the past fast and furious series franchise movie storyline plot about illegal street racing,car thief,bank robbery,drug dealer,undercover agent cop officer and now they were just storyline plot about becoming an undercover government agency save around the world from the most dangerous suspect criminal terrorism mix of james bond 007 with mission impossible then the cybercrime hacker mix of watchdog and cyberpunk 2077 with superpower fighting villain like the avengers and justice league style in it.
Remember folks. Legends dont always have clear headlights.
