Phenomenal cinematography... well done! Sets a great mood for Paris. To Paris!❤ Thank you for the inspiration and a great channel. Yes, I hit the Like button and Subscribed. 🌹🏅
This was really enjoyable. I only recently discovered this channel, and I'm so happy that I did. I think your videos that include your views on art, literature and history are particularly strong. So, Please don't be shy about those subjects. I am basically addicted to reading French literature, in French, so I can't comment on a video that shows "Le Passe-muraille" without recommending the collection of short stories that provided its name. Marcel Aymé is a joy to read. His poignant mixture of humor, insight and charm is a must for every student of the French language.
Hey, I'm glad my videos are appealing to you -- and particularly appreciate the encouragement about including elements on art, literature and history.... It's often hard to know if there's much interest for that, when so many people just want to know where to get the flakiest croissant!
@@amusingaida I can see how that would be a challenge. Flaky croissants and Flaubert both have considerable appeal, almost equal in my book. It seems like your creative instincts will lead you where you want to go. People fall in love with France for many varied reasons, so you'll have a lot to choose from.
OMG, you have capture one of the things I miss most about Paris, public art - everywhere - and much of it with deep, thoughtful meanings. Anything I'm there, I go on a "hunt" for statues and public art I have not seen before - and I always find some. Merci.
Thanks -- I see we're both curious about it. Paris has a surfeit of statues, so there are some really interesting ones in there. True of several other cities I'm sure. But Paris is still planting them, and the whole city is a garden of statuary.

Amazing video! I’ve been watching Paris videos for years (Rick Steves, etc) and I never knew about any of this! Great work!
Hey, that's great that I can offer up something alongside Rick Steves when it comes to Paris
Just found your channel! Love it! My goal is to live in Paris for many years. Looking forward to watching your videos and be more informed. 😊
Thanks! Grab that goal and run towards it!
I live in the 15th, near the red hotel seen at 0:55 by the Front de Seine :)
Lovely to have a view of the Seine every day!
Love this video. Merci!
Thanks!
Amazing art, thank you
It is! Happy you appreciated it too
I like the Edith Piaf sculpture.
What a singer. Wished I'd included her in the video.
Some see a similarity between the faces of Lady Liberty and Elvis Presley. 😊
That Grecian ideal in the profile, yes
😁😁😁😁
