I am testing out a Swelltech right now and I have even more respect for what Arthur does. Getting air and grinding coping is probably more challenging on a swelltech than any other surfskate that tends to be more skateboard-inspired. I am using the Austin Keen version, it would be awesome if future models of the rear truck could have a kingpin that doesn't stick out a cm past the hangar, I found it really hard trying to come out of grinds without hangups.
So looking forward to your review on this and the smoothstar & swell tech. I am loving my smoothstar in the bowl, but just snagged a swell tech. Fantastic on the flats but I can’t imagine being able to skate it like this in a bowl!

Trucks seem a bit lose for bowl skating. I think he was tightening the trucks before hitting the bowl.
