I'm glad I'm not the only one waiting for this. I've got an L and R speaker already. I'll buy a GO for center sound if they come out with a powered sub! The DB Sub8.2 is awesome but 6hrs juice plus 8hrs charge time means we can't use it for big events that are 5+ hours 😮💨
Please note: sound box speakers do not use a proprietary protocol. They use a protocol called SKAA. The protocol is supported on several other speakers, none of which I can list from the top of my head. There also our SKAA transceivers available. You can pair your sound boxes and other SKAA products together. The limitation of only five speakers is not from sound box, it is a limitation of SKAA.

But I just did a quick search and also I remember reading the list of compatible SKAA devices a couple of times and not seeing that speaker on the list. TRONSMART has their own connection protocol called Tunecon, so you could pair together multiple mega pro speakers, although only if the mega pros have Tunecon technology, not sure if they do.
I got my Gen 4 and it's amazing, the clarity and bass is refined. No distortion. Nice base in stage mode. I play ii at 80% is good enough. One speaker is plenty loud but two, .

@turtboi i had the soundboks 3, and my everse 8's murdered it out. Not only in sound quality, but in loudness. The sb3 maybe hits about 116-118dB's, while my everse 8's were hitting more like 122-124dB's, they really hurt your ears at the beach
Thanks, have been looking for info and neither Soundboks nor their dealer have been able to answer..Your video clearly shows that the SB4 was sold with the old battery which now seems to be no longer marketed. The new battery is more expensive and is charged with a different charger (C connector) If you are going to buy an SB4, check which battery is included.
As a DJ, I absolutely love this speaker, easy to take with you on the road, wide variety of possibilities. BUT the battery charging remains a big issue to me. If you want to play a dj set with 2 of these, you just want to be sure that you can keep these plugged in to charge so the speakers don't die. BUT to do so, you can only play at 50% of the volume. If they find a solution for this, thid will be the best speaker of it's kind!
Lounge is the quietest mode but it has the deepest bass and least amount of upper bass, Dance floor opens up the sound stage more but has the least amount of overall bass and Stage pushes the mids and highs the most and increases the upper bass by a lot. SOUNDBOKS Gen 4 not bad but definitely isn't for me

I just got the gen 3 1 hour ago. I´m going to return it. Not enough volume and to empty mids. When I listen it feels like classic soundbar + subwoofer syndrome... Kind of works for movies but sucks for music. Was deciding between the JBL 310 and this one.. But since all people write that the gen 3 is louder then the 310 I will not try that one even if it would have a fuller tone... I don´t really know what to look for now.. Maybe I just have to buy a powerchord one. But let me clarify that I might have higher standards on sounds considering only subwoofer to my computer speakers is 300w rms 12 inch for 1400$. It works for conversational party. But not dinner sound (too ugly sound)... And not a full on rage party / rave feeling. To low volume. Been playing it on full volume and I´m just sitting in the same room. no problem.

They so looove that big booming bass sound 🔊🔈that they will come knocking very loudly. They really don't want to miss out! They even shout out something like turn it up! every night, but I cant make out what they are saying so I just ignore them, and besides we have no more room anyway 🤷♂️ Sometimes they want to join in so bad, that they bust their party lights out to tempt me to let them in! its quite a sight with all of their lights flashing away down there, they just go for one color though, blue, I cant think why? And their siren sound effects are cool, too! 😅
I had the sb3 and it was amazing. Im the only one who have this speaker in our town and everone always ask what is the name of the speaker. Because their go to is the common brands. 😂😂😂 and ut feels amazing since the speaker really is a beast. And now that yhey improved it. Ok wow im sold.
soundboks if u want clearity and loud music, jbl if u want bass and more depth! jbl is not really good on top, and soundboks does not have bass! 2x310 is almost as loud as 1 sb, but with much more bass! so it really depends on what u like, and what type of music u listen to

It sounds better, but not a huge step, its am incremental upgrade, basically if you was gonna get a gen 3, you might as well get the 4, but if you already have a 3, no need to get a 4, unless you were already planning to get more

I got my new gen4 and it s a huge difference from gen2 . . . Gen 2 has no bass at full volume . The gen 4 it s just makes earthquakes around her at full volume . Very good sound and balanced at low volume and high volume
This speaker is so good that my neighbours will love it's sound, so much that they'll call the cops so that they can listen to it too.

Did you properly listen to the soundboks, Gen 3, and Gen 4 side by side? Are you sure that this is truly an upgrade?

Now they have (THE battery) and you can play at full volume but you need a usb c cable with 65w to play full volume
