Unfortunately I see a minor flaw here. I can side with Eddie to an extent. It isn’t actually fair that a rich kid, who can just buy a go kart, can try to win one. Contests aren’t supposed to be one sided and someone with a lot of money has a major advantage, way too big of an advantage. Not to mention her attitude as just horrendous. She was shaming Eddie for not being on her level and that is what inspired him to cheat. I think sh also needed to be a taught a lesson. A lesson in being humble. If it wasn’t for Brett winning the prize instead of Paula it would take been a major flaw. But honestly this is just one man’s opinion and the fact is there is a good lesson in here which is basically “cheaters never win”

I have always sided with the good people in the story but this time I think Eddie is right i mean yeah he did some worng things like stole and solled boxes in lies but it is so easy for Paula to win and it makes the contest so unfair especially for a person who has so many connections taking part in a contest like this , it just makes the contest one sided and unfair so i think these kind of contest shouldnt be or maybe the rules should be different and we can see in the story of her making fun of Eddie just because she has daddys money and he is poor it would have been a very big mistake if they made her win but i feel they should have made her learn a lesson too because if she wouldn't have poor shamed him them most likely he wouldn't steal the money
