I wasn't sad, I played football my dad never saw, I was never was angry on him. He would do anything for me, except he won't be present anywhere near me, I don't get mad because I know he already has stress with his work. I am a kid, but still I know what is the stress. Dad picks work over son for his Son.
I mean cmon we can understand the pain of father. He needs to be successful so his family can enjoy everything and live a lavish lifestyle. Some people just can't balance job and family life..
I honestly feel bad for the dad because he spent so much time trying to get the gifts, and he worked so hard to get the money for the gifts too, but the son still doesn't appreciate it. You can tell you really cares about his son. He kind of reminds me of my mom because she would work on her small business, and now she works at the hospital, but then and now she wouldn't be able to come to events like final acting performance, and for my sister; cello group. However, she worked really hard for us and, she was super thoughtful and supportive, so we were grateful and appreciative of that.
When I was a little boy I went through the same thing, but I was never like that kid, all I did was play video games with my brother and my sister, and spend time with my mom, while my dad is working. So I respect my dad for his hard work.
Yes. The kid was a bit ungrateful imo. But our opinion may actually be skewed and show how much we we were ignored as children. The dad is not right and the kid is not right either for not trying to understand how hard his dad works to keep him fed and comfortable
this kid is the sweetest and so polite. He asked to be excused, took his plate. He is trying so hard to get approval. Those new items are thousands of dollars and all he wants is just to spend time with his day. Love his mom is so supportive but honestly if your work doesnt end at work hours, and it hurts your family, its not worth it If your on the books, getting paid overtime, with set clear boundaries, you can still work around it. But working at the dinner table not listening to anyone, why come home? So you can pretend to be there and they can pretend to be happy while it destroys them? 4:47 in, and it is Dhar Mann, so I'm expecting to be crying and there to be a sweet ending. Even if not these are all wonderful stories or real lives.
I relate to this SO MUCH. My dad is always working, on the house, and at work. He comes home every day but when he comes home, he ether goes to sleep, is on his phone, or working more. He's always making promises he can't keep. Most of the time my mom has to force him to spend time with us. And most of the time while we're spending time with him he just gives us a big lecture on why he needs to keep working and about how he needs his rest and all that. Which I understand, but it's every time. And I'm getting sick of never spending proper time with him.
I cant tell you how annoying it is to hear 98% of people feel the need to just spam work to get thru life, then they dont know why they cant sleep and have a list of health problems, then they have 0 time for themselves and others.
You will understand how hard life is when you get older. It is constantly working, trying to finish projects, while your house and cars need constant repairs. And all you want is 5 minutes to watch TV, but you can't because your whole family is complaining that you don't spend time with them. Here's a helpful tip. See if he would mind watching a TV series with you once a week. Then you get to hang out, he can relax on he couch and both of you can eat popcorn.
Actually I don't blame the dad here since he did not have a choice. He is working hard for his family to live under a roof and he is the one getting blamed for everything. And the wife holding him back from work is causing a pressure on him as well. He does care about his family, reason why he works hard to not get fired.

4:27 the dad is trying to change his ways and spend more time with family
Even if not these are all wonderful stories or real lives.
he didn't eat tho
I feel so bad for the dad, he tried so hard to make his son happy. But something always got in the way. I got so happy at the end.
You will realize when you grow up your dad does so much for all of us. He works everyday just to support us.
@@Keikonyan I know, I just wish I could spend time with him a little more

Actually I don't blame the dad here since he did not have a choice. He is working hard for his family to live under a roof and he is the one getting blamed for everything. And the wife holding him back from work is causing a pressure on him as well. He does care about his family, reason why he works hard to not get fired.
How could he get fired if he's the CEO? Spending time with family is more important than any amount of money.
@@gracehicks726 CEOs can be fired and it is not always possible to spend time with your family
@@gracehicks726 but what if you get homeless and you're so broke that if you get sick you can't even go to the hospital because you can't afford anything and start losing your family members one by one
Remember, reality is always disappointing, but if accepted it can be really helpful for you to be happy in tough times.
