A snatch of a song his brother had sung to him during those centuries past floated across his memory, stirring emotions and memories Osiris was unsure how to reconcile...

When I heard this song, I new I had to cover it. Ponyphonic's work is phenomenal and this song is as grand and as sweeping as anything you would expect to hear on Broadway.
I was all like "BUCK YEAH! I don't care if this song was written for Celestia. I'm gonna sing it anyway because it really shows the Thor/Loki relationship between The two God-Rulers of Equestria!"
Being a dude, I naturally sang it as it would be sung in the "On a Cross and Arrow" (or Rule 63) universe of MLP. In order to differentiate from the original I altered the lyrics to make it fit Solaris/Osiris (Or Lunar. Or Artemis. Whatever you want to call him, it's your choice :P) and sang some parts ever so slightly different. It took about an hour of recording to get a satisfying take, but boy was this fun!

For those that may not realize it, this is Prince Solaris singing not Prince Artemis. The reason I bring this up is it seems there may be some confusing the issue because a picture of Prince Artemis is being used as th cover art.
Can anyone imagine Thor singing this to Loki after he's banished for his betrayal? I know I can 💖

when I first heard the voice, I was like, WHAT THE ****!? but then I quickly grew used to the voice, cause, I was kinda was hoping for a guy version X3

Honestly for the debate over the name it would be more proper to use the variation Artem which is a male version of the name Artemis and yes although it was used for the cat in sailor moon do remember that was a japanese anime and it could of been changed to fit the standards of the dubbed english version. As for Osiris yes it is the name of the egyptian god of the dead they also had multiple other things to rule over

Strangely enough, the low notes came easily throughout the process (I had warmed up thoroughly beforehand) but what I had the most trouble with was getting the required level of emotion to convey in a satisfactory manner.

This is a beautiful version of the song. Loads of people say this fits Thor & Loki and it does. With this song, I always pictured that to stop Loki's madness they had to imprison him in some kind of stasis crystal. I don't think they'd be able to actually kill him because he would still be family.
They'd have a special chamber that he's now in and Thor visits it day and night, full of guilt for not noticing how much his brother hurt over the many centuries. He'd come and reflect on their past with his 'sleeping' brother. The chamber would be beautiful and have windows depicting the sun and moon and golden carvings on the wall with the history of Asgard & the battles Loki had fought in. He is a prince of Asgard and I doubt Thor & their mother would want him in something not befitting him no matter what he's done. Especially if he's to be imprisoned in such a way. He would be a treasure of Asgard in a way.

The harshness of which 'Forgive me' was state in really made an impact on the song I felt. I could FEEL his pain as if it were my own. All together the voice and bitch as well as the force the words are presented with combined into an amazing song.

For some reason a lot of gender-swap MLP stories name Prince Solaris' (R63 Princess Celestia) little brother as Artemis. Which is odd since, despite technically being a gender-neutral name, Artemis (associated with the moon in Greek mythology) was unambiguously female. Osiris seems to fit a little better by virtue of being associated with the moon, but also unambiguously male.
