Jim, I really like what you did here. Not just showcasing games but annotating it. I really appreciate this style. Looks like Powkiddy could have had a winner here if it weren't for the issues. With what this can do, I'm excited for the Odin. Thanks for this.
The x18s is great. It plays any psp game, most gamecube games (use mmjr build of dolphin, change emulated cpu speed on a per game basis) and many ps2 games (set EE speed to 60%, EE skip to 3, change affinity on a per game basis) I'm enjoying mine so far, only game I cat play are Ratchet and C, SOTC, and a few other difficult ones. I'm still still on stock firmware too.
@@JimRPG bilibili let us down! any other rumours about it? With my faith for the odin being non-existant, the rg552 is the device now i'm looking forward to
I'd much rather see Resistance Retribution, killzone liberation, Motorstorm Artic Edge, Test Drive Unlimited, Dante's Inferno, Midnight Club 3, SOCOM - U S Navy SEALs Fireteam Bravo 3, Split Second Velocity, Syphon Filter - Dark Mirror, Syphon Filter - Logan's Shadow, Prince of Persia - Revelations, Pursuit Force - Extreme Justice. If it runs all those toughie PSP titles without hiccups, It passes my PSP test, I doubt this handheld will cut it.
How is it's 3ds performance? I'm assuming not great, from what I've heard from other sources, but every time I look at the design of the device that's all I can think of.
I don't get why you didn't try Sega Rally ? That was another amazing looking, and running, PSP game. Also, Crazy Taxi - Fare Wars, Burnout Dominator, Killzone Liberation, 4 Need for Speed games, Toca Race Driver 3 - Noone seems to test these amazing PSP games.
You don't get why I didn't try Sega Rally? 😄 Ok let me break down my process if you really want to know. Most of the games here I have and played on my original PSP. I added some others like Final Fantasy VII and Marvel Ultimate Alliance as I assumed they would be pretty popular with others. I also have a problem playing first person shooters as I get motion sick, so you won't see that many but I try sometimes. I will probably swap out five PSP games when I review the RG552, so I'll probably bring in a first/third person shooter like Medal of Honor or Killzone, or Syphon Filter Dark Mirror (which honestly i played recently and has aged pretty badly). I already have five racing games on the list Colin McRae Rally 2005 (the best rally game on PSP imo), Gran Trusimo, Outrun 2006 (the best racer on PSP), Ridge Racer 2 (second best racer on PSP), Wipeout Pulse (third best racer on PSP). To be fair, I've only seen some videos of Sega Rally Revo, but it didn't look that exciting to me, and I showed Sega Rally twice on Dreamcast and Saturn. Also I tried Toca Race Driver 3, and I think the later GRID games are better, I'll have to try the PS2 versions, I think they're better than the PSP game. It's not bad, but it feels cuts corners (sorry for the pun). (Also Crazy Taxi I tried on Dreamcast, and Burnout 2 and Need for speed Underground on Gamecube).
Put them on a micro sd card, insert it into the system and then use the emulator and find the directory where you put the games on. Or you can use a USB cable to connect to a PC, and copy them straight to the storage that way. Just make sure u drag down on the notification menu on the x18S and select transfer files

Yeah I'm excited for the Odin as well!
I think I'll save some money and get a PSP instead. Great video dude!
Hope we get a part 2 of PSP on X18S.
Very good video 👍
Yeah still lots of games to play on the PSP. But I've just about done enough testing on the X18S for a while now...haha.

yep im on the stock firmware too. i haven't tried ps2 yet! Glad you like yours!
Some PSP stuff Emulates/Upscales very well. Pro Evolution soccer 2014 on PSP when Emulated is a great example. Also Persuit Force.
Agreed:- Coast to Coast is awsome on PSP. Awsome game.
11:11 is here, where is the rg552?
It was a rumor from bilibili. But its looking like end of month now for RG552.

179.99 i think it was for that X18S, i think odin is a better option or wait for a new hand held.

Did you get to test it?
I guess with 2D indie games it will be fine

I preferred to use PS vita for PSP games, unless 18s comes in a 7 inches version in the future.
Id like to a 7" version too.
But not a fan of clamshells, would prefer a 7" landscape version… then Id be interested.
how to install games on x18s specially i want to install psp, capcom games

I wanted to - i ran out of time ill report back if I try it.
I'd love to buy these gadgets, do they come with ROMS? I just wanna play some Sega and the classic RE games.
Like 👍
Just use your existing phone with a Razer kishi way more cheaper and feels better
