wow man, the memories, im 34 years now, i was 14 and playing cs 1.3 when this realeased. Everyone in the cybercoffee reunited at one poor guys computer to warch this and everyone was screaming. Off course i still play to the day, have coached a cs go team and a valorant team.
This movie was made/released at a turning point in CS FOR SURE. It showed the new wave of players coming in and the competitive scene in cs was blown wide open again(for a time). Good times, good memories! No one else cares except us old CS guys, sure...but its still true!
This brings back memories, good memories. Miss everything about my youth, 1.5 and 1.6. This was the first cs movie i watched and the best one i've watched.
Mine too, i remember when my friend bring this movie to internet cafe on cd :D There was also adrenaline 2, hard clan movie and killing spree 4 and 5 :D That was like 12-13 years ago ? Good old times xD
these were definitely the days and years ort sure, back when people played for prestige more than the money, mostly because there weren't any in it, people showed up because of passion for the game and wanting to play. Asia definitely dominated over us back then, but they were more into starcraft and warcraft than shooters, but they already had structuring, teams, sponsors, money coming in people could make a living on, whereas here in the west we had no clue as to what we were doing, and ultimately after more failures than i can count in terms of tournaments not being held liable for not paying out prizepool, of all things an American broadcast network put a nail in the coffin in 2006 for every, both NA and EU more or less until starcraft 2. CS in europe definitely was a prestige thing up until around 2009/2010, there certainly wasn't any real money in it and then we only got about 2 years of good 1.6 before vavle ruined it with cs:go and now cs2.. i really hope that someone someday makes a complete stand-alone version/remake/remaster of 1.5/1.6, just like cs 1.0 was when it released, and runs their own tournaments to flip a finger to vavle showing them what we really want. but of course with all the shit fixed that needs it as well, all the shit vavle didn't even want to look at.

do you have any of the "supaplayers" movies laying around by any chance, and if you do, could you upload them? i think there was around 15 or 16 of them made by "da bear" or "da bears".
@@foonatt for me the problem with 1.3 was the infinit jump thing that made everyone at my cybercoffee jump endllessly. We had a name for that "jumping with little legs" because of the legs animation moving when jumping.
@@OsiRixxx yeah those little legs would look funny as hell sometimes especially on custom maps doing crazy stuff. another thing that was better about 1.3, so many custom maps......good times. i see what youre saying though the game was not balanced because of that element
this along with eolithic, sk, noa, those were the good days 1.5 and 1.6, I basically quit when shitty source came out, fortunately GO is a great game or I'd end my cs gaming for good
These times were the best years of my life and I didn't even know it.
Totally agree with you buddy.
