He's like Wile E Coyote or something, coming back with a new weapon from ACME. What's his problem with this thing? I could see being upset if someone had a camera pointed at their house filming them but these cameras are just for the property owner's own doorway. Guy's a lunatic.
@SkiSeaSnowShow It's not pointing in his yard or house, that's on his neighbor's ring camera. This guy is trespassing on his property and attempting to destroy his property. They got a restraining order. He's the one doing illegal stuff, not the disabled man trying to just his life without being harassed and threatened.
The unfortunate thing about that Groves case is that the authorities are applying logical punishments against a guy with an illogical vendetta. Obviously harassment is what he *wants* , the fines and monitoring are just nuisances. Like you said, the irritating thing is that if/when he escalates and harms the other guy they’ll say “we did all we could!”
When the authorities won’t do anything about a clearly unhinged person, that’s when people get the guns ready Like arrest these people for their own safety please
That first guy...I have no words. Why do that to someone? And why keep doing it after being fined and punished for it? That door at the end was an absolute legend.
That's the kind of guy you have to wait for with a weapon or something, that way when he comes back you just hit him in the head or shoot him and claim as self defense, since the guy clearly was not going away.
Ring has honestly helped my family immensely. In May this year two young men showed up at my door at 8pm while I was at work and my mom and step dad were winding down for bed. Unlike on the second video, my family looked at the camera on their phone, they asked to use a phone to call their mom when answered on the speaker. My step dad had the idea of holding a phone up to the window and offering to put it on speaker, but they, thankfully, had an uneasy feeling and refused to open the door. The guys gave him the number and he called on speaker as he said he would. They asked their mom to pick them up at the hospital which is right around the corner of my house (Less than 100 yards away). As they left 4 cop cars came rolling up the street with their search lights on. One ran (later to be taken in) and the other gave in immediately. They had apparently killed an older man in his home 2 blocks away near a corner store in our neighborhood. Not only did we have the footage Incase they weren't instantly caught as they were, but more importantly it actually kept my family safe. The camera paid for itself tenfold with that single event.
@@MrSlendyMannn yeah, this morning at 4:30am I was getting off the highway to work when I saw this guy waving his arm at me, he had a cup in his other hand and was trying to wave at me. I kept going.. seen this guy once before doing the same thing. I just keep right on driving. I'm not going to stop for some stranger especially at 4:30am.
@@MrSlendyMannn”answer” is the right answer. I look at the front door through my bedroom window to see if I know who’s knocking. If I don’t, I pretend like I’m not there.
2:04 Seeing that door or fence or whatever falling on the abusive neighbor was SO satisfying. I hope Mr. Prasad (spelling? sorry if I got it wrong) gets the peace he deserves. On another note, those cameras are INCREDIBLY sturdy if they're holding up against a hammer for that long.
Get ring installed? You buy it on a website or at the hardware store and stick it up yourself. I have one, I gotta tell you sometimes I use it but mostly just to see who it is before I answer the door. But I don't check even 50% of the time because the app experience is terrible. I have great wifi with enterprise grade equipment and the doorbell is 2m away from its closest backhauled AP receiving 70Db, it even has a static IP. But on my flagship phone it still takes ring up to 3 minutes to load the app, connect to the doorbell across Amazon's (ring) servers and display live video. Someone is knocking at your door or pressing the bell. It's often inconvenient to wait up to 3 minutes to see who it is. It's a great idea and the app experience used to be better. But I think that's why many people don't use ring to it's full functionality. It's a problem with Amazon not giving the system enough server compute. I have other cameras facing my door and their feed loads quickly because they don't have to cross external servers, so I often check those over ring. I'm switching to the new unifi doorbell with poe when it becomes available in my country.
I love how some people make fun of others who text or call to let you know they have arrived but honestly it's to make sure you know who your opening that door for. I live out in the country so situations like this are not common (thankfully) but watching these videos has increased my awareness. Thank you
I call or text and let people know I'm outside and I really appreciate when people do the same. Looking out the windows isn't much of an option cuz I have large windows and people can see I'm home then and further bang my door down. And no peephole on my door.
The guy that creeped up on the mother and son sent chills down my spine. That guy didn’t blink for ANYTHING! I’m wondering if he was drugged up? I do know one thing…when he backed away and just stood there, there was something evil. Be careful out there everyone!
@Michael Vargas yes it very well could’ve been that he was on meth. So scary for the family and very sad for the guy if he’s on drugs. God bless them all.
Had a guy like that at my old neighborhood. I saw a guy approach my place and quickly locked the door. I told my roommate there was a stranger pounding on our door. My roommate opened the door and gave him food 🤦♂️ glad I am out of there.
Not always. Often look innocent and fit in. Friendly, funny, witty, relatable and look very normal. I'm the same way. I think I can discern and tell by the eyes, which I can sometimes, but the truth is most of them you can't. Learned this when I worked as a CNA with some psychos in the forensics unit at a Mental Hospital. They seem very normal often.
See that he had a scrawny neck, very small puny guy, bet someone builds their arm muscles & grabs him by his dirty wig they could swing him around in circles, then come to an abrupt stop & jerk with all ones might in the other direction, his freaky head might dislocate from his neck sockets. ;) After this video hopefully someone in his area recognizes him. Anyone near him, could dress in drag with brass knuckles & steel toe running shoes, sit in front of their door with it ajar. Soon as he copped a feel, rip off thine wig, & say politely, Shall we dance? Then proceed to test out every wrestling maneuver ever witnessed on WWF & WWE. He'd be a sack of splintered compound fractures & multiple spinal injuries, compliments of your friendly neighborhood human waste disposal caretaker! hahahaha
The first clip was very eerie to me. I live in Birmingham, England where that took place and people have been taking things from outside my house, and going into my garden at exactly 3am. This hasn't happened since we installed a ring doorbell. I'm so thankful we finally bought one, after 3 years of trying to persuade family members.
Locking the doors at night is advised always, but in my quiet village nobody locks their doors in the day time, but that would be totally different in build up areas.

The fact that the first dude isn't even worried about covering his face while on camera is genuinely terrifying, he definitely intends to do something serious..
@trapd00rspider I think that he's highly intelligent. He's committing a crime that he already knows isn't going to give him any trouble other than a slap on the wrist. That way he can keep doing it.
The man going after the mom and son had a creepy ass half smile on when he first walked up, soon as he noticed she locked it already, his face drops, almost looks like he was sure he'd make it inside and have his way with them. I have a feeling he's been watching them.
Staying frosty is so important, when it comes to strangers at your door. Here are some tips on how to protect yourself & your home, & I apologise that this so long, but it's all important information. 1. Never open your door for strangers past sunset; talk them thru the screen-door if you have one, otherwise through the wood door or a (closed) window. 2. If they ask for a phone, offer to make the call for them. If they say you won't know the number, then ask them to recite it for you. If this stumps them*, or they wander off, call the police (yes, even if they've already left - they may be still somewhere nearby, either looking for other victims or planning another attempt). If they become agitated, call the police. If they try to get inside, call the police. Immediately. 3. Don't engage in conversation, or threats, or exhortations to them to leave you alone; simply immediately call the police, & let them hear you doing it. 4. Don't give into fear, keep your wits about you, & simply CALL THE POLICE . 5. If they begin behaving aggressively, repeat that the cops are on their way, that they've been captured by your porch camera (even if you don't have one), & deliberately force yourself into a state of anger so that they can hear it in your voice + inform them you are armed (don't tell them what w.; even if all you have is a cricket bat or a kitchen knife, it still counts as a weapon [& specifying to them what you do have gives them a chance to work out if they're willing to risk it] + you don't want to give them any information to work by) & that if they get inside you will hurt them bc you've had just about enough of their bullshit. 6. And if they make it inside, immediately withdraw w. your weapon at maximum speed to a room w. a door that locks + ideally a window while simultaneously calling the police back to let them know the situation, lock the door + block it w. anything you can & then escape through the window if possible + run to a neighbour's house, & if not just hide as well as you can + wait for the cavalry to arrive while staying on the line w. emergency services (as whisper-quiet as you can, so they can't hear you through the locked door).
Women living alone, elderly folk, & ppl who are visibly disabled - wheelchair users in particular - + living alone, are all victims who can be specifically targeted by a particular would-be thief/assailant as especially vulnerable (after previous casing/stalking, chilling tho that thought may be), so the getting-angry-&-making-threats approach may not be enough in these cases; the threat-person may feel secure that you are not in a physical position to do them real harm. - For this reason, it is highly recommended that you have a recording of large-sounding dogs barking + growling on your phone, & either begin to play it as you yourself are approaching the door (yes, before just even speak to your nighttime caller - JIC) so that the sound "accompanies" your travel towards it OR while you are at the door, "call" the dogs & immediately play a second soundfile of simple barking, beginning reasonably quiet + then slowly increasing the volume to simulate the dogs traveling towards you & then switch to the aggressive-sounding file once they "reach the door". And play it loudly , so loud that you + the person outside are having to raise your voices to be heard above the "dogs". - Never say, "I have dogs in here!" if the person seems to be presenting a threat; since the noises make it "obvious", it may seem like you're selling it too hard, & the threat-person may intuit that if your dogs were real you wouldn't feel the need to state it, + decide to make the gamble that you're bluffing (which, of course, you are). - Just - what do we say? - call the police as soon as you start to get a bad feeling from their response to your initial refusal to open the door/let them have your phone, arm yourself + tell them so in an aggressive voice, let the "dogs" present an obvious danger on their own, & tell them that the police are on their way + that they've been caught on camera. This should be enough to send most packing, & the ones who are determined enough to keep trying to get in are the really unhinged/sociopathic/high ones who are exactly the reason you'll be especially glad the cops will soon arrive to protect you from. It's not living fearfully, it's living defensively & it could just save your life. You may go your whole life w.o. ever having contact with someone who presents a danger to you, but if you do, it's important to have a plan. Ppl in genuine need will settle for you offering to make the call they want *for them, once they understand from you that that's the only choice on offer. If they keep trying to convince you to do *anything else*, then call the police.
The one that scared me the most was the one with the mother and her son. Especially when she said, “I need you to go shower”. Growing up, my mother was single mom working full time and when she’d pick me up from the after school program, it would often be dark when we got home. Then we’d get in the apartment (always lived in dangerous areas), and she’d get dinner ready while telling me to go shower and do my homework. That one hit so close to home. Police warned him against it. He went home, posted no trespassing signs all over and a warning message on the door directed at the guy. Ring videos are scarier than paranormal cause it's real people attempting to do harm. A ghost while scary to many might startle you, a legit person is way more threatening. Thank you for all the uploads this week Mr. Nightmare. Been following you for 7 years haven't missed a video yet.
Well, yes and no. With a physical person, you may perceive a legitimate threat, that doesn't mean that's necessarily more scary or dangerous. Spirits are undetectable, and if you're dealing with one nasty and powerful enough, or multiple spirits who are nasty, you've got a very scary situation on your hands you'd be all but powerless to assuage. A human you can physically stop atleast, there's no option for that with dark spirits. And many of them would see to it that your life would be as bleak and hopeless as can be. What can you do against a spirit that is hellbent on haunting you, and follows you wherever you go? Humans, while they can be erratic and scary on their own, are not on the same level as a dark entity. And on some cases, dark entities are involved in the dark evil acts of some humans. The only defense you have against these spirits is Jesus, and that's why many people who have haunting or other spiritual problems are inundated with them seemingly with no end, because most people having these issues resist the only one who can help. Not trying to be preachy, just speaking the truth. Spirits can do a hell of a ton more than just merely startle.
@@X-Cactus I see your points however I have been ghost hunting for 9 years and been to some dark dark locations. I am not Christian however I have spiritual guides, angels, whatever you wanna call them to help me and protect me. What you need it common sense, an education in the paranormal and an understanding that what your dealing with could possibly hurt you. Yes I have dealt with very dark entities before, and I have been pushed, scratched and made sick. But what I didn't do is show weakness or fear. Same with a human being. I would take a dark spirit any day. People are dumb, unpredictable, dangerous and don't care about you or I. So while your correct on some points. I disagree on others.
I love this series. It's great to make people more aware of what could be on the other side of the door. I actually don't answer my door at all unless I'm expecting someone. They have to call my phone for me to answer my door.
I always check out my window first, or if they're already in the stairway I check out the little door hole you can look through. My dad never does that, he just opens the door for everyone and then complains when it's a salesman.
Holy shit, the first one is probably the most terrifying simply because that's a neighbour. We are supposed to look out for eachother not attack eachother. The relentless, soulless gaze while he willfully wields a hammer at an innocent mans property is just chilling

Good advice but in some cases there have been attempts at beating the door in. Police just can't get here fast enough. I feel like this warning could also be said about garages. I think a lot of people pull into their garages and get out of their cars to open their doors, etc. Instead, if you have a rear camera on your car, pull into the garage and put your car into reverse. While the garage door goes down, keep an eye on your garage door opening through your rear camera until it is completely closed before unlocking your doors and getting out. This scenario happened to me last week. Broad daylight hrs, a random male individual was seen on my Ringcam attempting to open the screen door. He stops, idles around on the porch and then leaves. But he lingers around in the driveway a few more moments looking at my house then takes off. I've got firepower to protect my family but I've been noticing more and more people that don't normally belong in the neighborhood popping up. Be safe everyone
A certain individual recently moved into my apartment and basically brought his vices with him from other cities, so I’ve also been seeing more and more folks who don’t belong coming up and causing trouble in my area. It used to be safe in my area but now there are robbers, h00kers and drug dealers and it’s infuriating. But these videos and stories are helping make me more alert, I can’t trust my surroundings like I used to. The more I watch these type of videos relating to ring doorbell camera's, the more useful they start to seem to me and how they could possibly save your life here and there. When I'm finally out there and living on my own I might consider getting one of these.
Nothing like getting creeped out by Mr Nightmare's videos. Always puts a smile to my face Also: It was funny when the first creep got hit by the door he seemingly unscrewed himself

Mr Nightmare mentions people fail to be aware in day to day life. He is so right, I'm a combat veteran so I'm paranoid to begin with and I also work out nearly daily to be prepared to protect myself and family.
It always makes me happy to see when Mr. Nightmare uploads. I love the newer style he's started to go with for his stories. My dad and my grandparents have ring doorbell cameras. My dad got his for christmas, and my grandparents just got theirs for their own security. My dad caught people breaking into his house on his camera. I'm honestly really grateful for Ring Doorbells. It's kept a lot of people safe from having to open their door to potential criminals. While unfortunately a lot of people (even some in this video) still open their door instead of checking for some reason, thankfully most people don't open their doors to strangers. The other day, I was coming home after work and had my headphones on. I normally am pretty aware of the people around me but I guess this time my mind was wandering because as soon as I unlock the gate to my apartment complex, there was someone right behind me also coming in. They didn't do anything scary or sketchy and seemed to just be a neighbor but the fact that I didn't see that they were right behind me reminded me of your channel and I was shaken at how easy it was.
@@lilolmecj actually - outside of this instance - with my headphones on I tend to be hyper aware of my surroundings (constantly looking around, volume low enough that I can hear sounds outside of my music, sensitive to anything in my peripheral etc) because I know it can make me a victim.
When I first heard about that first incident a while back, I had heard he didn't like the camera being setup that it could see his door. It always bothered me though just how extreme he went with it, even going at it with a hammer. I thought then as I do now, that there must have been more to it for the guy to damage his neighbor's property. That dude is crazy.
I mean he himself said it was because the camera was near his door. But they installed it because he was already harassing them, so he has no defense. He doesn't get to be upset they installed a camera to protect themselves from his harassment. It's the consequences of his actions.
Some people are just freaky like that. The "don't tread on me" types don't only exist in the USA. I really doubt there was anything more to it. Just a profound sense of entitlement, and even more profound intellectual disability.
I mean- this is why you shouldn't even go anywhere near the door unless you're expecting someone. Thanks to watching these types of videos, I constantly have my guard up, which is helpful since I think I was almost followed home once, and there happened to be one other person on the street who questioned the man who was following me. @SkiSeaSnowShow It's not pointing in his yard or house, that's on his neighbor's ring camera. This guy is trespassing on his property and attempting to destroy his property. Unhinged
That's scary. Can't even open your door for anyone anymore. Everyone is a threat.

Why do people get Ring installed to protect their property, but still proceed to open the door to unknown people? Madness!
Thats what i thinking. Like why are you opening the door when you can just view ring?
Guess because they don’t really think to use it.
Brain smol and smooth
Seriously!
People are so dumb.
Thank you

-
For this reason, it is highly recommended that you have a recording of large-sounding dogs barking + growling on your phone, & either begin to play it as you yourself are approaching the door (yes, before just even speak to your nighttime caller - JIC) so that the sound "accompanies" your travel towards it OR while you are at the door, "call" the dogs & immediately play a second soundfile of simple barking, beginning reasonably quiet + then slowly increasing the volume to simulate the dogs traveling towards you & then switch to the aggressive-sounding file once they "reach the door".
And play it loudly , so loud that you + the person outside are having to raise your voices to be heard above the "dogs".
-
Never say, "I have dogs in here!" if the person seems to be presenting a threat; since the noises make it "obvious", it may seem like you're selling it too hard, & the threat-person may intuit that if your dogs were real you wouldn't feel the need to state it, + decide to make the gamble that you're bluffing (which, of course, you are).
-
Just - what do we say?
If they keep trying to convince you to do *anything else*, then call the police.
staying frosty in anywhere other than a party or an old peoples home is important!
The one that scared me the most was the one with the mother and her son. Especially when she said, “I need you to go shower”. Growing up, my mother was single mom working full time and when she’d pick me up from the after school program, it would often be dark when we got home.

I love these kinds of videos. A few years ago my husband had left the house with his friend and I could hear someone walking on the roof. I called him and was crying, but he didn't believe me til he actually pulled up and saw 4 late teen boys on our roof. Turns out the neighbor kid had thrown his Frisbee onto our roof and never bothered to ask if he could climb up and get it. Scared the shit out of me!!

Also, Mr Nightmare comes through with the daily uploads like he usually does, never change king. Edit: Holy Shit, this guy harassing them is not giving up or not fazed by the camera’s footage.
I'm not sure how you qualify, like you might need prime, but Amazon usually offers me 5 monthly payments for ring and Alexa products. Always lock your door as soon as you enter your home. Also, if there's a suspicious person outside your door, announce you're calling the police. If telling them to "leave" was good enough, they wouldn't have tried to follow you into your home.

Good advice but in some cases there have been attempts at beating the door in. Police just can't get here fast enough. Having a firearm and being trained, may be all the time you have allowed criminals are bold when they think they won't be caught, so try things that are fast and violent. I’ve seen videos of people sneaking into garages while people get out of their cars to hide and get into their house. 😳 It’s something we just all do without thinking, but try and be safe out there in anyway you can! 🙏

I'm honestly really grateful for Ring Doorbells. It's kept a lot of people safe from having to open their door to potential criminals. While unfortunately a lot of people (even some in this video) still open their door instead of checking for some reason, thankfully most people don't open their doors to strangers. Keeping themselves, and their families safe. The world is even more dangerous these days, so it's nice to have something like Ring to at least stop someone from opening their door to weirdos like the ones shown in this video.
Watching videos like this just truly reminds how much we live in a cruel and cold world. Ppl are crazy, stay safe everyone & thank you for uploading Mr. Nightmare

@@lilolmecj actually - outside of this instance - with my headphones on I tend to be hyper aware of my surroundings (constantly looking around, volume low enough that I can hear sounds outside of my music, sensitive to anything in my peripheral etc) because I know it can make me a victim.
