Don't forget, when her Mom tried to execute her, her arms were bound. Her power to absorb others isn't a conscious ability. It just automatically kicks in to protect her from any potential threats. Alice felt her power start getting absorbed even before the possession ended.
Dude this entire episode was freaking amazing but the ending literally gave me full body shivers. Agatha's smirk, the "are you sure?" and the way his entire facial expression changed. Damn, what storytelling.
I think it’s absolutely GENIUS for them to reveal the teen not by NAME but by that song drop “You Should See Me in a CROWN” by BILLIE Eilish.. also easter egg that I loved was when he said goodbye to the board, the name “William” was on the planchette as in William “Billy” Maximoff.. I think the next episode will be a backstory of Billy from his perspective
all the reactors thinking it said Mr Shart is fucking hilarious. We were all thinking the same. But god, Nicholas' little voice breaks my heart every time I hear it.
19:26 Definitely. We were just told she's bound to the realm, the Witches' Road (not the house), and that she has unfinished business, which is her own daughter Agatha. Personally, I think we saw her in the last few minutes of the episode--I think she possessed Teen and got rid of everyone who got in her way in the house when she tried to get Agatha then. Yes, the crown on Teen's head looks like the one Scarlet Witch wore in WandaVision, but her crown looked like Evanora's magical crown first. I'm of the mindset that Teen's anger in the moment made him susceptible to possession, and I think that that's what we just witnessed. Why is one supposed to have a coven to gain access to the Witches' Road? What's the point of the trials? What is the Witches' Road for anyway? I think the answer to these questions is the reason these women and Teen decided to pursue the road in the first place. Not the reasons they told us, although that is a byproduct, but a family, a coven. Witches were thriving during Evenora's time, so what happened? Why did they end up like Alice's grandmother, Lilia, Jennifer, Rio, and Agatha; witches without a coven? The Salem Witch Trials! Witches ran, abandoned one another, hid. Hiding kept them safe, but eventually, they got found out and ended up powerless or with diminished powers as we saw at the start of the series. Had they stayed together, and believed in one another, they never would have lost their powers. I believe the trials are here to teach these coven-less witches to learn to trust one another again--the trials specifically call for a specific type of witch for a reason, as witches shouldn't go it alone. Witches need to put their faith, their lives, in the hands of a fellow witch to survive the trials, something they haven't done in nearly 400 years. The Road is reuniting witches, bringing them back to their former glory. Next week is likely Rio's trail. The earth has claimed her coven, and she's their green witch; nature is her domain. Rio is the only one who can save her coven now. The episode after that should be Lilia's, leading us into the two-part finale. I thought we were going to see Mephisto, but it's looking more and more like the big bad is going to be Agatha's former coven. The prize, for finishing the trials will be the power of a coven, that power should grant them the ability to defeat the threats they face on the road, but also undo what's happened during their journey on the Road. I think we'll see Mrs. Heart/Davis and Sharon return. Sharon will likely be brought back as the woman she was supposed to be, a full-fledged witch. Mrs. Heart/Davis was witchy enough for the path to the road to appear--witches' blood must flow through her veins. This was a great episode, and it was long enough: it told the story it needed to tell in the time allotted. I can't wait to see the next episode. Who is Rio? Why did she laugh when a certain spirit told them who it was in the room? Will we find out next week? Is Rio that person the spirit originally claimed to be?
I'm thinking.. what if in order to revive someone you need their body, so that's why TEE~lly kicked Agatha, Jen and Lillia off the Witches Road to talk/bargain with the Death herself.. 😏
If you look closely, when Agatha tells Billy "come, pet" she was smiling looking at his hand, as his power was coming out. Agatha said that and about his mother to provoke him to attack her so she could absorb his power. Agatha realized that Billy was not her son because he was able to say Nicolas Scratch's name without the sigil appearing. But Billy was smarter and decided to manipulate Lilia and Jen into doing the job, thus preventing him from attacking Agatha directly.
I agree with you, and that is what happened as she wanted his power but billy already knows how she gets people's powers so he's not stupid so he used control power to take her down. And Agatha is a powerful witch but they are 2 witches that are more powerful than her and that's Scarlett witch and her son Billy/Wiccan. Billy/wiccan is also more powerful than her mum.
Loved the episode don’t get me wrong. Upon rewatching thru vids like this I did noticed that it should’ve been fleshed out more. A lot happened. The Salem 7, Agatha’s mom, Agatha’s kid, the trial, Alice dying, Wiccan reveal, etc. It was bang after bang after bang, like let me eat what you are cooking one meal at a time 🤣
I also dont think Agatha can stop once she started taking the power. Also if her mom believed she was evil since birth thats probably how she always treated her. I think Agatha just leans into being evil and like it was all on purpose. And maybe to some degree it is but not completely. If no one believes she can be good why keep trying?
Yeah I don’t think Agatha can control it once she starts to absorb it her power is like a curse she must’ve had this power since before the darkhold and why her mother saw her as an abomination and treated her that way since the beginning. Nobody would believe her if she said she had no control so she rolled with it I think the next episode will reveal everything to billy about her past. Billy put the sigil on himself and is probably working with rio as well since he casted the spell and she helped Agatha pull herself out of the spell.

all the reactors thinking it said Mr Shart is fucking hilarious. We were all thinking the same. But god, Nicholas' little voice breaks my heart every time I hear it.

Darkest Hour, Wake Thy Power....is what Billie did

you should also react to Heartstopper because joe locke who play Teen/Wiccan in in that show
Agatha All Along?
More like _Wiccan All The While!_
Billy Kaplan, reincarnation of Billy Maximoff. Lawful Good. Lawful PETTY.
Nicholas Scratch is Agatha’s son and also the father of The Salem's Seven.
This sets up rest of series
We all said Mr. Shart 🤦🏿♂️😂
Alice's death is just sad.
I'm not a theory guys, but what if this was Rio's trail?
maybe, but there's a scene where Agatha said :" Because the truth is too awful" and the BG is green
