You mention that it could be a chicken run or use as a greenhouse. Since it’s so long can’t you use as for both. Split it in half so you could do a chicken run. Just a thought. Keep up the good work.

I think I would add the center supports. With weather and everything you get, I just think it would make it sturdier.

Bartering time and work--great thinking especially when we all may have to go that route for many things. Great to work with a neighbor where both of you are happy. Keep the middle support. You 2 are doing amazing work.

Marcy You Are Becoming Quite The Outdoor Farm Girl 💜✨!!! Good Job Girl And You Are So Happy ❤🙌. Crandall I'm Impressed You Went Back BY YOURSELF And Got Another Greenhouse!!! That's A LOT Of Work For Two People Let Alone Just One Person!!! Why Not Put Half Of Another One Up For Yourselves For Storage? You Will Eventually Be Getting A Larger Tractor Plus All The Boys Dirt Bikes, The Boat, On And On!!! The Twins Wanna Roll Around In That Fresh Dirt 😂🩵🩵, They Are Awesome Little Sweethearts, Ready To Go!!! Maverick Is Such A Great Young Man And Big Brother 💙, Good Job Buddy ⭐!!! Bet Your Dad Is Impressed Crandall, Probably Wishes He Was There Working With You. FYI: I Agree About School!!! I'm A Retired Nurse And ONLY Knew The Math I Needed For Medication Calculations (care at my home now for my 85 year old Momma who has Alzheimer's 🩷)!!! God Bless Your AWESOME Family From Western Upstate NY
LOVE THE POWER CHARGE UNIT!!!!!!! MUST FEEL GOOD KNOWING YOU HAVE BACKUP IF THE POWER GOES OUT!!!

I'm thinking keep the middle support. You get a high wind storm, your work goes down the drain if it goes down. What a lot of work. Great job with the extra help. Even Marci got into hammering 🔨. Great job to both of you.

You should do the 3,4,5 method to check for squareness. Super simple. For larger projects, such as the greenhouse, or the future shop, measure 3 ft down one side, measure 4 ft down the other side, then measure between those 2 points, it should equal 5 ft and your building should be a 90° triangle in that corner. This method would work in inches also, or in the metric system as well.

Hello Eldredge fam!👋 You are always busy! You are a great builder, I'm glad your neighbor was able to bring his tractor over & help you out. Marci you did a good job out there pounding in those pipes. The boys were sure good so you could help & Maverick. It looks so good so far, good luck. Take care & God Bless. ❤️🙏🤗☺️🫶👍

As long as you have a shade cloth it should be fine. But the outer hoops do allow the space between to be cooler cooling the main space more. The insulation isn't just for cold but also for extreme heat that can fry your plants.

What we did with our green house at both ends but it took a few and a lot of bolting together was using wooden pallet on their sides with other timber supports and some metal strips for extra supports, front back and sides… Cutting the pallets to shape….I was just sick of the ends blowing off and or tearing etc in strong winds & storms. Now, it’s a life time without maintaining it in regards to repairs. The pallets came in handy when we added all the shelving which added extra support at the sides. I treated all the pallets so they would not rot. We were lucky to get our hands on a heap of pallets from Yass freight express a few years ago.

It’s easier for me to comment on my phone, so I’m watching you on my TV lol. I don’t think you need the inner one either. But I do know in Texas. Jamie puts a black shade cloth over her greenhouse in the heat because the greenhouse does get too hot. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Wow! I'm amazed how good it looks so far. Obviously, your trained eyes could visualize the mechanics of what looked to me like just a huge pile of debris and see how it could be reused on your property. Ha! Also, when you and your dad were taking it down on the other property, some of the big, bulky plastic tarp looked like it needed some patching, but I'm sure you already have a plan for that too. When you are finished, you will have a really large and nice work space. Great job, Crandall! 👏
