how did you connect the cloth to the geo?

if you are using cinema 4d in built cloth system, you simply need to select vertex selection mode and select the vertices of the cloth you want to link , then add a cloth belt tag on the cloth and drag in the geo and click set. Tadaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
