Thanks to you i finally read my talents and discovered that i almost never proc Deathstalker even tho im specced in it :D, I was wondering what gear i should craft and what i should buy for conq, also for gems and enchants, since most written guides are confusing (giving different options and making me think :D)
You're welcome! I was trying to find a way to get the marks into the rotation without it being too much hassle and this worked best for me. I capped in bloody tokens first and bought world pvp belt and wrists. I then capped conquest and bought shoulders and on use trinket. I'm trying to push Blitz only on this for content so when i hit 1600 ill use the token to buy helm as its good stats and a large item ill get for "free" to use conquest better. I also bought a epic crafting token to make 2x algari daggers to get 2 639ilvl weps right away. For stats, aim for Versa > Mastery > Crit > Haste. Enchant / Gem that gives versa + Mastery and enchants that give +speed and weps Im using Radiant Power. Hope this helps! :)

Crit has never been good on assa, ik haste helps with energy, also ur envenom gets a 100% crit proc after ur deathmark stacks as u said in the video, i get like 1.5m crits of envenom consistently. Also i kinda fucked my conq gear because i bought chest + shoulders but ill find a way around that :D. Also, why make weps when next week we can get the 2 weps from the quest ?
@@SI33py Sorry I've made a mistake in the order! Its Versa > Mastery > Haste > Crit. Was doing too many things at once! Last Season was Versa > Mastery > Crit > Haste.... I thought about the weapon choice long and hard given the quest where we get the weps on week 3. But the weps we get are versa crit. So opts for Versa Mastery weps with embellishments on each. Don't worry too much about the chest / shoulders you bought, by the end of next week - it really wont make any difference. Conq cap will increase by 600 a week now so conquest gear will be a little slower as we have no vault anymore. But be sure to keep chasing those bloody tokens for items!

@SI33py yeah weps are awful ngl. World PvP ones are 3ilvl lower and have haste, but thought since I got 9 free crafting tokens, I’d buy the one as would be an early advantage. I’ve started the 0-1800 blitz journey and looking to focus on the solo journey for players. So once that’s hit, I’ll take a bottom of the tier class/spec to make it interesting haha. But for now, more rogue content coming soon going over some macros!
If u vanish aggressively and open again with garrote, how does that effect the existing garrote on the target from your first go. Also, I have seen some rogues use wound poison and hemotoxin at the same time. Is there an advantage to this. Ty for the vids. Very helpful.
When we apply a double garrotte, It doesn’t increase the damage but only gives a longer than normal duration due to the pandemic effect. For example, if it’s normally an 18 second duration - a double garrotte applies at around 25 second duration. Sadly, wound poison and hemotoxin don’t stack. I would drop Hemo in favour for another talent when using wound. This change to not stacking I believe was implemented during Dragonflight. Hope this helps!
This is actually a good question that no-one ever asks! So 9 out of 10 times I will use wound poison. The only times I would use Deadly is when I have someone with a good MS effect. That being said, at the start of the expansion I was playing about to see what was more beneficial / worked best. Which is wound btw :)
Do u have any tips for fighting other rogues? If I open they get out of stun and then I'm stunned and they open. If they open and I trinket it seems that I lose. Any tips would be great.
@@mikestrate1468 honestly one of the toughest fights for me also. I’ve found holding your trinket as long as possible to make the other rogue use theirs first tends to be the key. Even though you may be under pressure, try just reminding yourself to take it slow. Ideally you want to save your trinket for then they get a kidney on you that’s full duration and you have nothing else I.e. No cloak to rid of bleeds/prevent shadowblade damage. No blind, no vanishes, no gouge etc. if you have none of these along with no trinket, it’s time to start asking Elune to forgiveness! Keep them controlled as much as possible, save your trinket ideally till they have used theirs and take your time. That’s the best advice I can offer to be honest!
I have tried out this build, and its good. Do you have any difficulty vanishing and keeping out of combat after the first burst? Are the dots on the target popping you out of steath? Can you give some tips on how to keep out of combat and in stealth between the bursts on different targets. Or is running out of range and coming back is the only solution to that? Or just keeping around and trying to survive out in the open for as long as possible while applying dots on everyone?

So glad you're enjoying it :) ngl, I've found the same and not sure if there is a bug with Serrated Bone Spike pulling you back into combat if its active - or if its something in the Deathstalker talents that's causing this in error. Either it's not working as intended because when we use vanish, we aren't meant to get pulled into combat from out active bleeds. Personally, I tend to be play as if I'm still playing a plate wearer... I will be all over the EFC for example and once its down, get straight into the team fight to dot as many as possible, stun, blind and just be a pain in general and then stealth away back to my job. As soon as you're out of defensives in team fights, vanish/meld and get out of there cause we will get run over if we aren't winning the team fight. But, if you love this build, you're gonna love the next video ;)
Hey! I don't use anything outside of the standard focus macros for Blind, Kidney, Gouge etc. Usually find that cast sequence macros would over cap on combo points :( If you want me to cover of the macros I do use, I can make a short video if it would help?

It was about 6 months ago something just clicked and I thought I would make the channel because surely most people have felt the same with loads of classes. Since I've played most, thought I would give this a shot to try help people :) With regards to gearing, ilvl is always king! But ideal stats would be Versa > Mastery > Crit > Haste. The good thing is, these stats are also the same for Sub, so if you ever wanted to change or give it a go - no need to worry about replacing your gear! Hope this helps

Everyone should be allowed the knowledge to have fun sneaking about in BG’s / WPvP. I’m looking to start uploading a mix of content for classes with next up - Shadow Priest. But don’t worry, my Rogue is my main so content wont be in short supply haha
Crimson tempest is a massive bleed that is used on a single target or in AoE. I would honestly say it’s needed as it’s one of the strong bleeds in our kit

The two garrotes doesn’t up the damage, but increases the duration due to the pandemic effect. The stun threat from melees is a real issue in a 1v1 situation and I should have clarified in the video this opener works best when opening in a team fight or peeling for your healers etc. as I mainly focus on BG Blitz and BGs this isn’t usually a problem. There is various openers for many different scenarios in BGs, the main thing we need to do as a Rogue is be adaptable. I have some content coming with different openers I’ve been working on as with deathstalker play needing the use of Ambush - it’s tricky to find the most optimal way to do this.
Hi mate!, using Ambush after you vanish reapplies Deathstalkers mark, which will be reapplied when we next Envenom (which will be our big buffed envenom). Can use this window to extend garrote if needed or weave in Cheap shot etc. I really dislike the use of ambush to apply the marks, but we make it work :)

Yeah it’s a tough one with Rogue to learn cause one mistake and you can get flattened if you have no defensive etc. I’m starting work on another assassination video which allows us to use cheap and gives us more control. Also gives comparable damage if not slightly better which might make things a bit easier for us all. Keep your eyes peels for it and I hope it will be just as useful:)

Hey! Ah yeah I should have mentioned 1 thing - the duration of Slice depends on how many targets you cleave with Rupture. With Serrated Bone Spike, it applies to every target it hits with rupture. So if you apply to 1, it only gives 1-2 combo points (depending if it crits). This will impact the duration of the Slice. To get a little more combo points, after you rupture on 1 target, I would through a Fan of Knives in there just for the extra points it will give before slice. If you are opening in a team fight, use the opener in the video and you will rot the enemies down. If its for 1 target, I recommend watching ua-cam.com/video/v64o6StFXRc/v-deo.html where I talk about different openers. While this was made last season, not much has changed for Assa since then. Hope this helps clear up some bits, always happy to explain :)

I love this! Good job Bro! By time we get to that big crit, enemies are close to death so it’s a great finisher. Go sneak about the world and test it. Once you get it nailed down, people will fold over. I love it more so in the flag carry pvp maps. EFCs just melt haha

Completely agree with you! For me when starting to use this, it just felt wrong and didn't make any sense to me. But Since using it, the numbers it does it just too good. Just for example, was getting some content last night and Crimson was ticking for 330k-350k. It's just a really strong bleed at the moment and the added pressure it brings is noticeable when you're training a target. Even just a single target :)
Agreed! But I’ve gotten used to it as I roam around bgs, I pop into fights, cleave a lot of things and then vanish away again. Found it rather fun as we have strong single target, strong AoE and get to be a menace in bgs! Although sometimes I get too aggressive on the rogue and stay in team fights longer than I should :/
I "occasionally" use Cheap in the opener, but it really depends what reaction of result I'm trying to get out of the enemy. 9/10 times, I save the stun DR for later into an aggressive vanish as they will tend to trinket a kidney but sit a Cheap shot. So a lot of the time a player will sit the Cheap shots and then we will get a lesser Kidney due to DR. By not using Cheap in the opener, I find players either sit a kidney which is great for us, or trinket - which is also great. While the cheap I use in an aggressive vanish is impacted by DR, it doesn't cost me combo points and its nice for interrupting heals or just stunning them a little longer. Hope this helps! :)

But it was only about 6 months ago where it just clicked for me. It was then I realised that I cannot be the only person who feels this about classes / specs so made the channel to help. I've mainly only uploaded Rogue PvP content, but will dabble into other classes as have loads of Alts and Rogue has become my main since I understand it now. I'm no where near the level of r1's (I'm too old and my reaction time sucks now!). But I would love if my audience could take what I know and do better than me. So I wish you all the best. Hey! this is a common question tbh and I do this for 2 reasons - firstly, while a double application doesn't increase the damage - it does increase the duration. Longer duration fits good with the rotation and durations needed to burst. Secondly, the extra combo points are great to get a max point rupture out in the 6 second window we have to allow us to cleave multiple target with it. Hope this helps!

Hi, please tell me why you use the garrote twice and on the same target? I can't understand why.
Hey! this is a common question tbh and I do this for 2 reasons - firstly, while a double application doesn't increase the damage - it does increase the duration. Longer duration fits good with the rotation and durations needed to burst. Secondly, the extra combo points are great to get a max point rupture out in the 6 second window we have to allow us to cleave multiple target with it. Hope this helps!
