    On This Week's Episode:
Today, we have the pleasure of interviewing Dr. John Delany. You may know him as one of the hosts of The Ramsey Show or from his own show, The Dr. John Delony Show, or from his first two best-selling books: Own Your Past Change Your Future and Redefining Anxiety.
But what we’re most excited about discussing is his most recent book: Building a Non-Anxious Life.
Sounds aspirational, right? For some, that may even sound out of reach. But the truth is, it isn’t. But it’s not something you can wander in to. We’re not going to ever be insulated from grief and harm but those should not be the things that define us. So let’s dive in, listen to the wisdom of Dr. Delony. And when we’re done, make sure to pick up your copy of Building a Non-Anxious Life.

I have 21 yo twin girls & a 32 yo son. I see my girls and their friends having more no-device time than my son’s generation. It’s refreshing and gives me hope they will be happier.

The Doctors Delony, (John, and his amazing wife, author Sheila) have both given me so much hope....struggling is not fun....but oh, the growth that comes from overcoming! :) Thank you for this! I appreciate you!

I came across your channel through your interview with Dr J Delony 💎 (who I found last week😊) After facing major adversity in 2004, I've spent years educating myself & trying to rebuild life but letting anxiety/PTSD get in the way. Learnt so much here...Flipping it upside down for Post Traumatic Growth 💪🌟💎💖 Love from Catherine. UK, England 🇬🇧

Can't guarantee anything but there is a vetting process and it can take some time. Good luck!

This was a great interview to listen to. The part where you both hit on "Do you want to be well?" was a pretty cool part.

What if I have a defective smoke alarm and the fire isn’t real?

Great question! That's where it can often be helpful to have an unbiased third party (like a licensed counselor) speak into your situation and help provide guidance. Check out Delony's website for resources on finding someone. www.ramseysolutions.com/personal-growth/how-to-find-a-therapist

If the fire isn't real, maybe the basement is flooded, and the whires from the smoke alarm got tangled with the ones from the moisture sensor? No joke
