Bioluminescent Wadden-Sea, (Sea Sparkle) Zeevonk & Milky Way Terschelling (1st Night) 02-06-2017

I had read and seen some videos about it, but I never before had seen Sea Sparkle with my own eyes.
That was, until during my recent vacation at Terschelling, when to my surprise, on the very last two nights the water lit up with beautiful ‘strong Sea Sparkle.
This video was from the very first night at De Noordsvaarder where I had just set up my first camera for a low to high tide timelapse, and I was about to set up my second camera for a Milky Way angle timelapse..
Suddenly mine eye caught a glimpse of the waves putting off some strange glow which didn’t seem to be the normal moonlight glow I was familiar with on the water.. and remembering that Sea Sparkle had been in the news, (being a hot item to the south of the country, especially Katwijk) I thought to myself “can it be?..” ..so I decided to take a closer look.
Barely a minute later I left my already set up camera to do it’s timelapse, but turned all my other gear towards capturing a sight I had never witnessed before.. The sparkling sea, with the sparkling heavens above it..
