Duck Hunting 2024 | Decoying Big Flocks On A Tiny Pond!

The huge cold front that hit the midwest in early 2024 sent big flocks of waterfowl south in search of warmer temps and I was lucky enough to get to see that migration in action when I made it down to Texas! On this morning we were duck hunting on a tiny pond in the middle of a wheat field that a bunch of wigeon had showed up on the night before. The action was fast and furious at first light with big flocks decoying right into our setup! The flight slowed a little bit as the sun rose but we still had enough birds trickle in to finish off our limit on this amazing little pond. Thanks for watching and I hope you enjoy!
