*Literally* was just about to sub to the Patreon to get access to these lmao!! Not that I won't still do that ofc, you're the only reason I was able to start my game with my friends
Working on a setting that takes place inside the perimeter of HWY 285, so basically Atlanta and the surrounding area. This information just made it a whole lot easier, thanks for the continuous quality content.
me too! in my setting, Atlanta changed its name to New Terminus. i included some existing places, like The Vortex and The Bird. how did your game go? It's been two years now
Thank you very much for the awesome content again! After watching this I actually want to continue my campaign with friends after a much long needed break. :D
What would be the most common weapon type used against the player in the early game, or just the most prevalent weapon found on the streets carried by npcs??
Low quality and normal quality weapons of all types are likely to be found on the streets. The only thing I would keep in mind is that assault rifles, snipers, rocket launchers, etc will likely be low quality or easily broken. Also keep in mind that weapons will get destroyed when the bullets are flying in combat. If you throw a grenade at someone, expect their equipment to also get damaged
I'm enjoying reading about the official setting, but I feel like a megacity feels right, and NC isn't megacity size. Doesn't the original blade runner list LA at over 100 mil?
@@JonJonTheWise But doesn't lore describ it as 5 million? Does that include suburbs/districts? Even if not, that's still smaller than NY, and it's not quite LA in Blade Runner or Mega-City 1. Do you prefer Red or 2020 for a setting, if you're not using one of your custom locations?
Your coverage of rules is great, but for some reason my brain literally filters your voice out entirely if I don't put you to 1.25x speed while listening
Role to cast is a great podcast from baby beard Media. Other than that, I wish I could recommend some other Cyberpunk podcasts but I honestly can't. As far as I know I'm the only one doing a podcast about tabletop cyberpunk. There is another out there but I would never recommend it.
@@JonJonTheWise thank you for the podcast! i originally landed on it by searching podcasts with Guys Sclanders in it because i was learning a lot from him, then found your podcast and started a new scifi campaing while trying to implement Cyberpunk into my old ruleset. Now we finally resigned and we're switching to Red and are having our first session this sunday!

Thanks for the support either way 🙏
Gearing up to run The Apartment, and your vids on large groups, 3 Goon Method and World Building are really helping. Much appreciated Choomba!
Glad to be of service choomba! Happy gaming

Night City is huge! It’s not just the downtown area. It also includes combat zones and corporate zones. So it’s definitely a mega city

Jonjon, what do I listen to if i finished both the tabletop podcast and the dark future podcast?
