Just so different to a spindle picker guy like me. I must say it looks like a super idea. My hat is off to you. I would think the cost saving over a regular stripper is significant. To me, looks like very little is being lost. After all you are 12 rows wide!
Only issue with them is the gins don’t like stripped cotton as much. It usually has more plant matter in it that the separator (if the machine is even equipped with one) wasn’t able to clean out when compared to a spindle machine.
would it not be much easier to use a large square baler,, the way you are doing this looks like a pain in the ass, set it up to run the bailer on a hydro Motor to run the bailer
