Something I've noticed recently is that the overwhelming majority of men being constructively and healthily masculine, are Indigenous. There are plenty of exceptions, of course. But there's been an increase recently in the online presence of men who actively carry their heritage, culture and overlapping identities with joy and (healthy) pride, and they are almost all Indigenous Decolonising masculinity, and gender as a whole, that is SO TASTY. Even as a trans man, even with my access to gender euphoria, my community, and my unique perspective, I have struggled with feelings of shame about masculinity. But there's a handful of trans men elders and Indigenous men content creators who have actively SHOWN me that it is absolutely possible to be a man in a joyful and beautiful way

I firmly believe that if you spend all your free time taking on the weight of the world's problems as an attempt to solve each crisis, you will stop functioning as a human being and will go completely insane. Somedays I talk about important and pressing issues, other days I talk about memes and make 18 minute videos uplifting other Desi creators simply because they make me smile.
