- In this video, I'll be talking about why I think Lego in general, but Lego Star Wars in particular needs to put more attention towards recoloring their sets.

I thought it was a pretty cool idea!
Having both Trade Federation and Separatist colored Droid Sets at the same time would be pretty cool.
Good point, I'd definitely love to see that!
I think this would work really well, but only on certain sets. I think the slave one would obviously work, but I think things like x-wings could also work, as they could have different ones from different squadrons. (Ex. One from red squadron and one from blue squadron)
I think the closest thing that LEGO has done with recolouring so far with Star Wars was the Kessel Run Millennium Falcon that used a white and blue colour scheme to match its look in the solo movie. Curious to see how the sales were on that set!
Good thinking, we're also getting a dark Millennium Falcon in summer. I'm pretty sure they aren't afraid to release different color variations of Millennium Falcon, because it's pretty much a bread and butter set of Lego Star Wars that is contantly available on shelves.
And the jedi Starfighters
For sure! I'd love to see more niche ones, because most of them so far have been made for pretty basic characters.
@@Star_Brix yes i totally agree, i only found your channel todat but your channel has to be one of the most underrated ones ive ever seen, keep up the content and you should get popular
@@SilentKitsune3 Glad to hear that you enjoy the content, I'm glad that I've been growing pretty fast since the very beginning. 👍
This seems like a really cool idea.
Glad you like it!
Dude, you need to work for Lego! I love this! +1 sub
Glad to hear that haha, I hope you'll enjoy your time here.
Lego should just straight up re release sets, like the OG Stormtrooper battles pack and the UCS falcon (they’re both similar enough).
Like a new version of the Sentinel Class Dropship from like 07-08 or a new version of the MTT that is barely different from the old ones would be fantastic.
I think this could work, since it could’ve represent different characters
I would totally buy that Jango Fett ship
The new Batman: TAS Batmobile could really use this. I get why they choose that dark shade of blue, it kinda looked like that in the show, but I wouldn't mind a black variant
Yeah me neither, maybe the Bad Batch Shuttle in grey would ve a pretty solid choice as well.
After they did the Carnage helmet set and the recolor of the T-Rex set, I realized this was inevitable with LEGO.
Those are some good examples that I didn't mention in the video, I'm glad you brought them up. This is surely a fun concept, I hope Lego gets to properly utilize it in the future.
Mate I have 2002 Jango's Slave I, but a remake would be SICK 🙏
This is a great video!
Glad you enjoyed!
Would be cool to have a blue squadron rebel alliance x wing.
I'd want a blue UCS Slave 1
If it works for Technic, it should work here.
If they recolor the slave 1 I really hope they don’t choose the newest smaller model
Fair enough. I'm personally hoping for a brand new bigger playset Slave One, but I'd especially love to see Jango's Slave One at the biggest scale possible, I'd really love to see that UCS model come back!
@@Star_Brix I can get down with that
Lego could start doing what transformers does sometimes. They'll release a newly molded figure in a more obscure or less desirable color scheme, and later on release the one more people will want. There was a recent optimus prime released in a holiday deco first and was later done in his more familiar red and blue down the line. Lego could for instance release clone battle packs in whatever color first so that deco gets the hype of being a brand new set, then do it in 501st blue later.
I didn't know that about Transformers, definitely interesting to know. I'm not sure this trick would really work with Lego Star Wars because the main consumers are still kids, but this could cause an effect on the older collectors.
@@Star_Brix hasbro still alleges kids from 4-12ish are still their largest demographic so if that's true it at least works there.
@@Star_Brix Well with transformers it's similar to star wars. People want their favourite characters. For example Cliffjumper comes out however people don't want him they want bumblebee so they wait for the recolour/retool of cliffjumper because they share the same body. Or characters like Starscream, thundercracker and skywarp. They are a set trio all sold separately. You can't really buy one with out the rest so people spend more to get the team.
Releasing a 501st and a 212th battle pack at the same time would empty my bank account 😂
For sure, but I suppose that would give those sets a bigger shelf life haha.
@@Star_Brix yeah I think its actually a great idea for lego to release different colors for lego star wars sets, there’s so many instances where it would work really well
Personally as long as it’s not those big expensive sets
Under 50 he’ll maybe even 100 I’m fine with but the moment you decide to re release that big melenium falcon but pink your going to hell
That's definitely a fair take! I think this concept would have to mainly apply to sets below $50. However, I also think some big Clone vehicles could use this concept as well, but they would need to give them a longer shelf life for sure.
The Slave I that should be recolored is the 20th Anniversary one and not the most recent one.
Fair enough. I'd honestly take a Jango's Slave One in any form, it's really been just way too long.
@@Star_Brix if Lego is going to recolor any of them, it should be the best one, excluding ucs. They'd never recolor a ucs set.
Lego star wars recolors would end up having two bad option/inacurate cos theyll go lazy
1:28 kids don't even care about colors ( if you mean in age 1-10),their builds are colorfull and everyone built ugly not fitting color house or something else
Where do I sign. This is an awesome idea and it would sell pretty well for clone wars sets! The only trouble would be in the figs...
Glad you like the idea. I think the figures would definitely be the makn problem, but I'm pretty sure Lego would out the easy route and just heavily reuse/recolor already existing minifigures.
0:36 actually on 75312 box written boba fett's starship, not slave one.
Maybe, but why wouldn't I call the ship by its actual name, Lego is just wanting to avoid using the word "Slave", which feels really forced.
