I like the fact Scott Ian is not afraid to show his appreciation of other musicians. You can see this with Ted Nudgent in the supergroup series. Scott Ian is not only a great musician himself, he is a great person who seems to be really real

I dont wanna imagine what he went through after he got the message that Dime died... breaks my heart seeing everybody being in pain back then and even after 17 years its so devastating to live with the fact that such a loving person was killed so brutally and without any reason and left so many peoples hearts with a big hole... A lot of people see zakk as a boozing fat guitar player who would be no one without ozzy starting him off, but I see him as a boozing fat musical god :') he plays the piano as masterfully as he does the guitar

I've never heard anyone say that about zakk. I hear it about Randy Rhoads a lot. Zakk had success without ozzy. The one that didn't yet everyone claims ozzy should give credit is Jake e lee. If people were smart they would realize Ozzy made Jake. If Jake was truly great he would have had other success outside of ozzy
