I love your truck and SUV camping adventures. I have been a van lifer nomad going into my third year and I love it, the freedom to move constantly, changing my backyard almost daily. I love seeing what gear you extract from your backpack and your organized ditty bags. My favorites have been the stoves, especially the Japanese Soto models.
It's funny, couldn't understand why you weren't talking then I realized this was the new channel. Great video, just going to take some time to get used too!
I love this channel, no talking , sounds helps me relaxed and go go sleep, will be watching this channel every night to go to sleep, love the sound of the rain the the truck is a bewitching sound, thank you
Thank you for this. What a great way to show your subscribers that you hear them. I know I enjoy getting out in nature. It is difficult at the moment because I need a hip replacement. So this is alnost as good as the real thing.
Awesome new channel! Always hoped you’d do something like this. Also when you started the cruiser showing the steering column I could smell the Japanese car of the era smell. Very simple and relaxing thank you. Have fun!
I think this new channel will be a huge success. Best of luck with it Luke, and greetings from NL. Canada. First thing I noticed from the opening few seconds was the right hand drive vehicle!👍👍
I really like these silent photography based adventures, looking forward to the fall, frost and snow episodes later this year. That will challenge your artistic skills!
It's so relaxing just listening to the rain coming down. New vehicle? I noticed you were driving on the right side passenger. Cool format Luke I like this style you're doing too! Is that short ribs with rice!? YUM
I really enjoyed this video, I like the Land Cruiser. I’ve just brought a Toyota Alphard , imported from Japan to the UK and converted it into a camper van. So I’ll be enjoying your videos whilst travelling around Europe. Cheers Luke
Thank you for what you do! Unless you have done something like this you might not understand. I love the experience and love there is not dialogue to go along. As cute as you are most of us use cast iron to cook…
Lots of work you're putting into these videos, re-editing without commentary but definitely watch worthy. Reminds me a little of Rune Malte Bertram-Nielsen years ago and Swedwoods today, no talking just doing. Excellent! Maybe you can throw a new adventure into the mix from time to time just to keep us on our toes... Thanks bro👍👍🏕
Greetings from Tokyo. I like seeing these LCruisers on the roads. They became popular amounts 30-y.o. recently. This is why LC70 series is coming back :)
Old subscriber here and I love this new Channel. This will be my go to when I come home from late shift and need to relax. I love both of your channels. Thank you so much.
This is my second message. When you went to sleep. I saw two eyes, to the left side of the tree. Well, then I remembered it's the reflection of the light. Hahaha hahaha 😂 pumpkin me. How silly of me.
So strange not hear your voice. Especially first bite of your meal. I could really hear you go, OH wow, thats awsome in my head. I can see why silent vids are great, but personally I prefer you talking, explaining, saftey talk, but most of all, i miss your stories from the past while dining. Thank you Luke for sharing.
Wow this is different and then I looked at the name of the channel.....ooooh I see "silent" But throughout the video I was expecting and waiting for Luke to talk ....not even a "Cheers everybody, cheers" before you drink your coffee. Thanks Luke lol.
Hi Luke I have enjoyed the first two "silent" adventures and I thoroughly enjoyed them. However just a little request if you are not going to talk at all could you please put the temperature on the screen especially the snowy one as it looked very cold. Heres to more great adventures. Take care.
Hi Luke. Enjoyed watching this again in the quiet mode. Did you and Susie sell the Land Cruiser as of yet? Know that you had mentioned that you might previously. Thanks
I watch both your TOGR & other ASMR. This was an amazing first video except the alarm. I had fallen asleep & at some point woke up in a panic because I wasn’t expecting that. Hearing the rain on the vehicle helped me fall asleep. So if there is one suggestion it would be to not have loud sudden noises in the video. Otherwise I truly enjoyed it. Had to watch it a few time to see the entire thing. Because I kept falling asleep.
Nice vid, the silence (sound of the rain) turns it into sth contenplative. Funny all those people who wish to hear your voice, they seem to forget the existence of TOGR. And, I can now focus more on the lavish attention that you pay to image quality, mood settings, cinematography. Not sure whether you read all these comments, but my suggestion for editing this kind of mood into your silent vids, consider slowing a bit down in the tempo of shots of an action or scene from different angles, show longer shots of, for instance, a set of trees, a rainy window, the view from the front window as you are driving. Gives it a bit of a 70s movie vibe.
There are several channels that do this, but they are allEuroasia. You can get the American market if you do it right. A little music here and there won't hurt. Your music choices are always good. If you're so incline. Don't force it.
Nice video. It’s going to take some time to get used to you not talking…😂 I had a Land Cruiser in the 70’s. They have come a long way since then. What stove is that your using? I’m interested in getting one.
I just wanted to ask you have you ever been afraid to be there by yourself at night is there any moment where you have been afraid of something made you to be afraid?
I can appreciate this, but I want to be honest. I watch you because I enjoy you talking to us while on your adventures. I like listening to you talk about the area you are in, your childhood stories, etc. I enjoy watching channels that talk much more than no talking. I see why people like it though. I just feel like, "Why am I watching this...if I'm just going to be looking at nature, I should just go outside and look at nature." I love seeing the nature, the rain, the animals, the trees, the snow, etc., but I definitely miss the conversation you have with us through the camera. I keep waiting for, "Speaking of cooking rice, it reminds me of funny story." 😂 This is very well done, though.
@MRussell803 I was not rude in my comment at all. I just figured I would leave my own feedback/opinion. I have been watching Luke for a long time. Calm down. I watch Girl in the Woods too, btw.
Ah, I was really not much of a fan of that rig. I guess the right-hand drive, metric instrument cluster, and that silly sink kinda threw me off. It's better off in Tokyo. I liked Moose and Drifter, and do like Luke's current 4Runner rig. It's like some folks like chicken, others like fish, figuratively saying.
While I appreciate the effort, the total ASMR format is unsettling. A little chatter would be nice, if for no other reason than to acknowledge that you have an audience. The outdoor footage is enchanting. However, inside the truck is too dark. Some shots are hard to make out, and the yellow glow is gloomy rather than cozy. It distorts the color of the food, etc. Also, wider shots would be better in order to appreciate your indoor surroundings rather than tight, one item at a time video. BUT, this is simply my opinion, and I otherwise applaud your efforts.
This is probably the most reliable type of mobile camping arrangement. You don't need to carry tents, awnings, tables, chairs and much more. Bravo!
Thanks to you we got a Japanese from Japan right sided driving camping van. Would never have thought about it without seeing this vehicle.
Been watching Luke for years, a new channel popped up in my feed today, subscribed.
You have a voice, people respect you, don't lose that. Stay true to your gift.
I like this new channel, with or without you talking.😊
I love your truck and SUV camping adventures. I have been a van lifer nomad going into my third year and I love it, the freedom to move constantly, changing my backyard almost daily. I love seeing what gear you extract from your backpack and your organized ditty bags. My favorites have been the stoves, especially the Japanese Soto models.
I absolutely love this format! I think that I will give this a try, since I don't really like talking to a camera. Nice trip, Luke!
Same! I tend to watch videos like this before bed when my insomnia is acting up. Quite relaxing.
Much like FISH13 and RYUCAMP or ALL the other Korean camping videos, very enjoyable and relaxing to watch.
It's funny, couldn't understand why you weren't talking then I realized this was the new channel. Great video, just going to take some time to get used too!
This comment is true lol
I keep expecting Luke to say “ cheers everyone “ ! 😃😊
Yes I was wondering that too 😂
I enjoy this channel much more than the other one though... I just want to hear nature sounds and quiet camping....
I love this channel ( and your other one too).. this is my personality down to a tee
I love this channel, no talking , sounds helps me relaxed and go go sleep, will be watching this channel every night to go to sleep, love the sound of the rain the the truck is a bewitching sound, thank you
The best to ever do it 🦋It’s because you love the sound of rain🔷 It shows in all you do✌🏽
I seen the other episode and now seeing it like this is just more relaxing.😊
Thank you for this. What a great way to show your subscribers that you hear them. I know I enjoy getting out in nature. It is difficult at the moment because I need a hip replacement. So this is alnost as good as the real thing.
Love it. Just being in woods is the greatest.
Love the new channel, can't wait until everything is up. I have big plans for all those rain and thunderstorm videos!
Awesome new channel! Always hoped you’d do something like this. Also when you started the cruiser showing the steering column I could smell the Japanese car of the era smell. Very simple and relaxing thank you. Have fun!
I like the quiet, but I also like your dialogue. glad you have both sites.
I think this new channel will be a huge success. Best of luck with it Luke, and greetings from NL. Canada.
First thing I noticed from the opening few seconds was the right hand drive vehicle!👍👍
The trip up is an excellent idea. All the bumps add to the experience. LOL
Love all the gears and gadgets your using in this video. Love to get my hands on them.
All I can think watching this is that I want to be out there too!! Love the format Luke!!
I really like these silent photography based adventures, looking forward to the fall, frost and snow episodes later this year. That will challenge your artistic skills!
This new channel is greatly appreciated.
What a relaxing way to end the day. Thank you Luke for sharing. Love the scenery.👍🙂
Loving the extra videos.
Thank you very much for watching and for letting me know. I really appreciate it. - Luke
OMG I think I like this channel more than the gear review channel. 😊
It's so relaxing just listening to the rain coming down. New vehicle? I noticed you were driving on the right side passenger. Cool format Luke I like this style you're doing too! Is that short ribs with rice!? YUM
Oh yes..hes got a vehicle with the steering wheel on the correct side😂😂🇬🇧
I really enjoyed this video, I like the Land Cruiser. I’ve just brought a Toyota Alphard , imported from Japan to the UK and converted it into a camper van. So I’ll be enjoying your videos whilst travelling around Europe. Cheers Luke

I finally see you in your jeep. It's sure different from you talking to us. God bless you and your family always.
Yes.!! Silence….!! I love it…..
More nature, less Luke! I love it!
A brilliant camp, I just found your new channel from TOGR. Strength and Honor. 👍
I love ASMR and I love your review channel so for me this is

Very artistic. Love it. Great work. I really felt I was with you on this journey. The amount of camera angles is awesome.

Digging the new format! Of course, both channels are great!
I like the adventure but I really enjoy it when you're sharing with us. However, I'm very open to some peace and quiet.
So today I put my order for what I need for fall.
Good vid Luke, like the new channel, keep it up.
Please do keep doing these kind of videos. I love the natural sounds. I do get tired of listening to people talk. In
Awesome format!!! SO, RELAXING!!!
I'm really enjoying this new channel luke........ but I'd still like to see a modern bushcraft series sometime.
I absolutely still LOVE my Garmin Instinct.
all the info I need, and a 2 week battery life.
Last thing I need is something else to charge every day.
This is my second message. When you went to sleep. I saw two eyes, to the left side of the tree. Well, then I remembered it's the reflection of the light. Hahaha hahaha 😂 pumpkin me. How silly of me.

Hi Luke I have enjoyed the first two "silent" adventures and I thoroughly enjoyed them. However just a little request if you are not going to talk at all could you please put the temperature on the screen especially the snowy one as it looked very cold. Heres to more great adventures. Take care.
Great 2 c that Toyota out again...
Hi Luke. Enjoyed watching this again in the quiet mode. Did you and Susie sell the Land Cruiser as of yet? Know that you had mentioned that you might previously. Thanks
Awesome! I still want to know where you get the packaged Teriyaki chicken.
I watch both your TOGR & other ASMR. This was an amazing first video except the alarm. I had fallen asleep & at some point woke up in a panic because I wasn’t expecting that. I think that backup beeper goes against the title of the new channel, Luke.
Nice. (More words not needed)
What was the meat/sauce that you ate with the rice? Looked delicious!
Why dont you make your own tent? Love your videos ❤
Loved it! Thank you! ❤Just one question: Is it driving you nuts not to say anything?!? Lol!
I'm Enjoying your new channel thank you. Did you buy any chance sell that land cruiser? I know you had said you were thinking about it.
There are several channels that do this, but they are allEuroasia. You can get the American market if you do it right. A little music here and there won't hurt. Your music choices are always good. If you're so incline. Don't force it.
Hahaha, just look at that kettle..brand new. No tarp and where is the Cruiser?, haven't seen it recently.
Luke, I thought we advanced to talkies about 100 years ago!😢
Nice video. It’s going to take some time to get used to you not talking…😂 I had a Land Cruiser in the 70’s. They have come a long way since then. What stove is that your using? I’m interested in getting one.
Love the new channel just wish he spoke
The point is that he doesn't - these are re-edits of previous adventures where he did talk.
I'm on the fence with this type video. To each his own.
I just wanted to ask you have you ever been afraid to be there by yourself at night is there any moment where you have been afraid of something made you to be afraid?

Just going to say yes. If you had those things you wouldn’t be so needy now? Sir please get out and have fun. Maybe girl in the woods or Bushradical.
@MRussell803 I was not rude in my comment at all. I just figured I would leave my own feedback/opinion. I have been watching Luke for a long time. Calm down. I watch Girl in the Woods too, btw.
Your voice is great
So encouraging
I miss you talk
And will not be hooked
On new channel
Books are silent
Hey luke
Today I realized
U do talk to much
Love this silence, feel at peace
i have noticed you frequently use this "soto" brand. any particular reason?
Luke, I am your father
I'll stick with his other channel
Luke I rather have you talking iit why I watch maybe you could talk on some of the video
I
Ah, I was really not much of a fan of that rig. I guess the right-hand drive, metric instrument cluster, and that silly sink kinda threw me off. It's better off in Tokyo. I'd much rather hear your talking and descriptions....

Wish you would talk in your video. I like the camping please go back to talking and explain things like you do on the other channel.
That's what his original channels for.
