The only game I ever cared about owning complete in box was Shining Force 2 and I was recently able to finally get it! I owned it as a kid but lost track of it when I went to college. I used to forage for the secret mithril in that forest back in 1996… and it gave me nightmares on hard mode. Those Gizmos were literally Insta-death if you weren’t through the roof on levels…

my world of warcraft character's name is Shiningforce, level 100 prot paladin, under the guild officer's notes it says "Served under Jaha the Baron" i listened to this video while leveling him, i tried to get him to look like Jaha with the stormwind guard set, be sure to look him up in the WoW Armory online

You did a good job with this. I remember as a kid trying to replicate it but piano was not my main instrument.. So.. It did not come out right.. and I ended up annoying the person who let me use their piano! lol ( To be clear.. I play Base Guitar mostly but I can also play the Violin. Though once you learn one of those its not hard to learn and play the others I find. )
Yes this piece was a very early test for me for learning by ear as I never could get the soundtrack to learn from, so I had to play the game up until the part where this music plays and learn from it off my CRT TV, back then this took a very long time and I still was never 100 per cent accurate, fond memories as it’s a beautiful game and soundtrack, also same guy who did landstalker OST which is equally a masterpiece in VGM.
Based solely on the quality of this track and also doing a 30-second preview on Amazon of Ken's stage theme I decided to buy the full MP3 album. My request would be to do some Shining Force 3 covers (or better yet - a full length album). Great music but completely ignored when it comes to covers
