As a Lions fan, when we went into victory formation I was shocked by what was happening that my brain just couldn't fathom what it was seeing. I was happy for sure but I just stared at the TV worrying that something might go wrong. We the clock hit triple zeros my body still couldn't fully accept that we won. Maybe in like a month I will just randomly scream in celebration. But for now, I just feel so weird. Like this combination of joy, confusion, denial, tickled, and calm. What I can say is that Kitty went meow.

I was irritated all day about this being the season opener I really thought some shenanigans would happen that last two minutes.
For those who know, can tell that you have stuck with the team through it all. And let me just tell ya, I felt the same exact way. I was almost sure that there’d be a penalty or a fumbled snap or some kind of stupid rule the refs would pull out of their back pocket that’d give the chiefs 3 points

I am a lions fan my whole life, I've always loved how the "rivalry" in the NFC north is basically a friendly alliance between lions, bears, and vikings against the Packers. We all hate the pack lmfao. The two dreams I wanted the lions to get came back to back. 1- crush Rodgers and rob him of the playoffs and be the reason he was out-- 1.5 Rodgers leaves the pack 2. Beat a reigning superbowl team

Yeah, I went to the Lions Buccs game yesterday. with 1 minute left and up by 14 the lady next to us asked if we could let them get a touchdown now, my friend responded "No! Onside kick, Hail Mary, 2nd touchdown! If it will happen to anyone it'll happen to us."
As a Chiefs fan, we deserve that loss from all those mistakes we made.

As a Bill’s fan.......I really did feel that. Lion’s became hero’s this night.
And as a Dolphins fan, you could say we woke up the Lions. In the 2022 season, the Lions lost their first game to the Eagles 35-38, then they defeated the Commanders, then lost 5 in a row and that was the Dolphins that gave the Lions that 1-6 record after a surprisingly close game 31-27, but all of a sudden, they won 3 in a row bringing them to 4-6. Then the Bills came to Detroit for Thanksgiving which was also a close game with the Bills winning 28-25 bringing the Lions to 4-7 only for them to win their next 3 games which included the Jets losing to the Lions bringing them to 7-7. Just to lose to the Panthers, but after that, they dominated the Bears and kicked the Packers out of the playoffs ending the Lions 2022 season on a high note with a 9-8 record when they were 1-6 at one point.

They better hope he stays healthy the rest of the way, because it doesn't matter how well Mahomes throws the ball if the receivers are gonna drop this much. They need Kelce BAD. You could also say good job lions. I love K.C. But for the lions to go there and win is much more meaningful then a KC win as they are the best bar non where the lions are just trying for once to get on track. Everyone loves the biggest underdog of all time
Oh for sure man, It's awesome to see the Lions do well. Lord knows that fan base is long overdue for a little hope. They played well, esp considering the defense was pretty trash last year (at least in the first half). The Lions got to Mahomes and ruined the timing of most of the passes they didn’t grab.
I wouldn’t worry too much about the WR options, tbh. I would worry a bit about the RT being dominated while using every advantage possible, though.

Our best reciever was on the sideline while we're still trying to make Sky Moore something he is not.
The chiefs seem to start out slow , if Kelce in likely they would've won , I'm sure they will get m back the week b4 they play the Viking game, and start to run on all cylinders by then , Det could be a top 10 team tho ,they looked very balanced in the run/pass & decent in defense & to beat there hardest scheduled opponent on the road this season , will definitely raise there confidence level a tad

They honestly gave everyone hope. Any of us who root for teams better than the Lions (no disrespect, Lions, but cmon) should be looking at this as a sign that KC is fallible this year. That D is gonna get picked apart by any team with solid weapons, and the offense is literally just Mahomes and Kelce.
A team with a solid D and good offense like SF or Philly matches up great against them, and several top AFC teams have the raw firepower to win a shootout. Last night showed us that the king bleeds just like the rest of us.

It feels good, as a Detroiter, to have a team that has potential to go to the playoffs in the near future. This game was awesome.

It was insane to see it be brought up by the announcers and then they still didn't call it until the end of the game. It was a perfect karma call but still shouldn't have gotten that far in the game.
I couldn't believe he was getting away with all the movement pre snap. I actually believe he had one play where he lined up to far back, jumped the snap and hooked Hutchinson across his chest exactly like the one they called for holding near the end of the game.

Not a fan of either team but yeah... I was wondering why the right tackle was allowed to move before the ball moved so many times without laundry, well except at the end of the game when it was 4th and "Oh crap Mahomes is going to convert this isn't he?"
The Chiefs had so many opportunities to win that game but the receivers just kept dropping balls. Great win by the Lions regardless. They need to fix some things on both sides of the ball, but they got the blueprint to do it.
