if the song is named The Crests are Hidden Forever then its a fitting name for a fitting ending for a badass character though my fav is Arma the guy is fun to fight against no matter how many times
Actually the bad ending shows Arma in the flames saying it's his time to rule, which emphasizes the power vacuum and chaos the death of Phalanx causes in the Demon Realm, which really should the case no matter what ending you get, as Phalanx's death would cause this whether you got all the crests or not.

Actually I just watched the “best ending” video and think got that too. Can’t really remember but most likely I beat the game twice and got both the normal and best endings. Who knows it was so long ago 😆

Even from 1994, that music was... Astonishing and epic! This is better than the ones from MMX and SFII. But, don't get me wrong, MMX and SFII had a better musics but... This is like a masterpiece of a music. I don't know why my brothers didn't have this game. And I know why. Because, my parents thinks that this game had lots of evils and diabolical stuff. 70s or early 80s kids can play this game except 90s kids. Because, they're not big boys.

He activates the time crest and tosses all six back down to the Demon Realm and then returns there to fight a stronger foe. This is how the crests fell from the sky in the first place. He wanted to do it again and fight Phalanx squarely with out the crests. He does and Phalanx runs like a pyussy and seals himself in the crest of heaven. Firebrand hides it as you all saw.
