My kids are more engaged because of the silliness that he adds. I don’t even have to tell them to turn the story on, they do it on their own. May Allah reward him the best reward in life and the after for all his hard work and sharing his talent with us.

Summary(Important Points) Surah Yusuf Part 4: The Dream 1. There is no mention of Yusuf(AS)'s background, we are directly left at the beginning of the story. 2. The relationship between parents and children is shown by the example of Yaqub(AS) and Yusuf(AS). 3. The parents are supposed to listen to their child regardless of its being irrelevant. 4. Be your children's friend! 5. Make your children feel comfortable talking to you! 6. Experiences value more than stuff! 7. The Arabic word "YA ABATI" is unusual and it signifies love and respect. Both are needed for parents. 8. Yusuf(AS)'s strange sequencing( Stars, the sun, and the moon) shows that he(AS) understands the meaning. 9. Stars like siblings can be a support to us even if they are far away, we don't really depend upon them. 10. Sun and the moon are the parents, they pray an important role in our lives. Sun is like a clock and the moon is like a calendar. 11. No conversation we have with our children is insignificant! 12. "INNI" emphasizes that he(AS) really did see the dream. 13. When a kid speaks, Allah listens. 14. Also, Yusuf(AS) made Yaqub(AS) understand that he(AS) respects Yaqub(AS) as the interpretation was disrespecting. 15. There needs to be transparency in a relationship. 16. Yusuf(AS) also knew that he(AS) is going to go far away from his(AS)'s brothers and father. 17. And then they will come closer and do Sajda(prostrate), out of respect, for him(AS). So, he(AS) is shocked. 18. Also, the word "LI" which means "For Me" is before "SAAJIDEEN" which, according to grammar, shows that he(AS) is shocked. 19. The "LAAM" in "LI" can also suggest 'Because Of'. So, it can be that they prostrated because of Yusuf(AS), not to him(AS). 20. However, this is Ustad Nouman Ali Khan's view and anyone can disagree with him. This ends the summary. Anyone who thinks I have missed some point is welcome to reply but please give the time in the lecture when Ustad Nouman Ali Khan talked about it so that I can be sure. JazakaAllah Khair

I don't know how to explain this ... but when i hear him speak.. its like omg that completely makes sense...!! What I mean is i listen to ither lectures as well but the attention span kind of limits itself cz somehow i don't click or connect with the person.. but when sir speaks.. its like so amazing! I really don't know how to explain.. its like that's so true..it completely makes logical sense... i can't imagine anyone not appreciating sitting right in front of sir and learning because that would be so amazingly awesome!!
Salam alaykum, I really like the detail explanation, the connections with the Dreams, very insightful, inspiring and exhaustive way of reflecting on every word. With exception of the extra bits that were not relevant to the text- parenting etc. Really, may Allah (swt) bless you and your family, the team supporting this much needed wonderful effort. It's really a great blessing masha Allah.
Ma shaa Allah TbrkAllah. May Allah bless you and keep you steadfast upon the deen. AAMEEN. So thankful for your profound input on the Qur'an. Alhamdullillah.

It's really interesting, I just finished my todays "dose" of Arabic class at Bayyinah TV, we went through Pronouns :-). So yeah I get what you're talking about, and furthermore I encourage everyone who might read this comment - start learning Arabic for the sake of Allah - to understand His word firsthand by heart.
السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته جزاك الله خير For the explanation regarding the Sajdah that has always bothered me. Your take makes so so much more sense.
Speaking about parenthood, the opposite is shown in the Kuran , too. I mean with much attention and care which Yusuf got from his father, his older brothers might have been suffering from lack of that attention Yusuf, being the smart the gifted and the handsome boy, which he definitely was, got. The lesson of it is if you don't balance you love and care between your children it may result in jealousy and envy between them, which may eventually result in more serious problems, heartbreaking and even evil. Perhaps, among others, this was one of the reasons for Yakub's grief, that he understood his mistake as a father as well. I doubt that he didn't ask himself a question what on earth I have done wrong that my children do such things to each other. BTw thank you for these series, gems of information drawn from them))
BENEFITS OF ISTIGHFAR ►Istighfar removes anxiety and Du'as are answered. ►Istighfar opens the door of sustenance. ►Istighfar opens the door of mercy. ►Istighfar opens the door of knowledge. ►Istighfar is also gateway of productivity ! ►Istighfar relieves you when you feel that sadness within you, when you are disturbed and frustrated, and also when anxiety surrounds you. Always say Astaghfirullah Astaghfirullah… ~~Don’t leave Istighfar A man once came to al-Hasan al-Basri and complained to him: “The sky does not shower us with rain.” He replied: “Seek Allah’s forgiveness (i.e. say أستغفر ألله).” Then another person came to him and said, “I complain of poverty.” He replied: “Seek Allah’s forgiveness.” Then another person came to him and complained, “My wife is barren; she cannot bear children.” He replied: “Seek Allah’s forgiveness.” The people who were present, said to al-Hasan: “Everytime a person came to you complaining, you instructed them to seek Allah’s forgiveness?” Al-Hasan al-Basri said, “Have you not read the statement of Allah? ‘I said “ Ask forgiveness of your Lord. Truly He is Oft-Forgiving. He will send rain to you in abundance; increase you in wealth and children; grant you gardens and bestow on you rivers.”‘” [Nuh (71):10-12] There are two things in the earth that give a person safety and security from the punishment of Allah. The first has been removed, whilst the second still remains. As for the first, it was the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him). “Allah would not punish them while you were among them.” [al-Anfal (8):33] As for the second, it is istighfar. “Allah would not punish them as long as they sought forgiveness.” [al-Anfal (8):33] أستغفر ألله… أستغفر ألله… أستغفر ألله… Do not ever leave istighfar! Please share and remember that you will receive the reward for all those who make istighfar, due to your reminder. Astaghfirullaaha wa ‘atoobu ‘ilayhi. I seek the forgiveness of Allah and repent to Him. (Recite one hundred times during the day) It was reported in Saheeh Muslim that Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.) said: “I seek forgiveness one hundred times in a day.” [Muslim] Du'a for seeking forgiveness: Dua of Prophet Adam (A.S.) Rabbana zalamna anfusana wa in lam taghfirlana watar hamna lana koonanna minal khasireen [7:23] ”Our Lord ! we have sinned against ourselves and unless You grant us forgiveness and bestow Your mercy upon us, we shall most certainly be lost." رَبَّنا ظَلَمنا أَنفُسَنا وَإِن لَم تَغفِر لَنا وَتَرحَمنا لَنَكونَنَّ مِنَ الخٰسِرينَ [SURAH AL-A`RAF, VERSE 23] Du'a of Yunus (A.S) repenting to Allah in the belly of the whale: “ LAA ILAAHA ILLAA ANTA SUBHAANAKA INNY KUNTU MINATHAULIMEEN” [21:87] “There is none worthy of worship except You. You are pure. Verily I am amongst the oppressors.” [Al-‘Anbya’ 87] Prophet Muhammad (Peace and Blessings be upon him) said about the Invocation of Yunus “None who is experiencing difficulty employs it except that Allah would relieve him of his difficulty.” [At-Tirmidhi] Nooh (A.S) asked for the forgiveness of Allaah The Almighty, repenting by saying: Rabbi Inneee A-o’od’u Bika An As-alaka Maa Laysa Lee Bihee I’lm Wa Illaa Taghfirlee Wa Tarh’amneee Akum Minal Khaasireen [11:47] “My Lord, I seek refuge in You from asking that of which I have no knowledge. And unless You forgive me and have mercy upon me, I will be among the losers.” (Surat Hūd, 11: 47) We must recite this dua’a to have full faith in the wisdom of Allah under all good and bad circumstances because Allah is all-knowing; and humbly seek His help to keep ourselves on the right path. Say: Allahumma innaka ‘afuwwun, tuhibbul-‘afwa, fa’fu ‘anni. (O Allah, You are Most Forgiving, and You love forgiveness; so forgive me). Say: Astaghfirullah al-ladhi la ilaha illa huwal hayyul qayyum wa atubu ilayhi It says in hadith, whoever says it seven times his sins will be forgiven even if he should have run away from the battlefield. Say: SubhanAllah wa bihamdihi Whoever says it hundred times, his sins will be forgiven even though they may be as much as the foam of the sea. Say: la ilaha illallahu wahdahu la shareeka lah lahul mulku wa lahaul hamdu wa huwa a la kuli shay’in qadeer. And say the many other forms of repentance that are prescribed by Allah. ALLAH HAS FULL ABILITY TO GIVE YOU ANYTHING YOU WANT! AND ONLY HE (ALLAH) HAS THAT ABILITY. The Prophet ﷺ said, “Verily your Lord is Generous and Shy. If His servant raises his hands to Him (in supplication). He becomes shy to return them empty.” [Ahmad, Abu Dawud, Tirmidhi] .....
Sun referring to father which is always burning to provide light and keep the darkness at bay in a family but there are times when sun has to set so the moon referring to mother who guides us when we are in darkness with whatever little light it can reflect from sun. And then the stars we always wanted to reach the stars so up high(role model). I think siblings should be role model for each other cuz it is way to relate to them and all the siblings are in same position. Allah know best.
Asalamualikum sir I am so glad I saw you today in my dream ....I was like ---!!you are legend ...because of you and tariq jameel my life has changed completely. ..thank u
Am going to spend more time with my kids today,by the way the sound is really good now, didn't miss from "am I on internet to tahajjud, not even the Harley Davidson sound in btw, jazakallah khair , whole team.may Allahu SWT make us meet .
from 15:00 n onward about muslim parents thinkining they fulfilling their duty by doing bare-minimum like feeding n skool rings SOOO true. It's one of reason why young kids become rebellious to parents when they feel like their voice has not been heard and parents treat them like nobodies. Just giving birth n feeding/clothing is NOT parenting.. i wish every parent hear this n benefit. It's just the up-bringing of traditional backhome muslims, they werent taught to love/effection n care about "feelings"of their kids generation after generation, everyone repeats the cycle on their kids, until you decide NOOO i will not be like them. May allah make us good parents to listen n pay attention to our kids when we have them n treat them with love n respect, yes respect they deserve. Respect is EARNED not handed out as freebie as some say. In subcontinent cultures, when elders make mistake no one dares to correct them out of so-called respect.. again we must speak out politely and correct the mistakes nomatter who...Truth is above everything.
today finally I got the idea of the their sajadah. i always thinking, how can human doing sujud to other human beings. and i can related with Mohd Salah doing sujud after scoring goal. sujud because of syukur. jazakallahu khairan. may Allah bless you always.

Salam alaykum,
I really like the detail explanation, the connections with the Dreams, very insightful, inspiring and exhaustive way of reflecting on every word. With exception of the extra bits that were not relevant to the text- parenting etc. Really, may Allah (swt) bless you and your family, the team supporting this much needed wonderful effort. It's really a great blessing masha Allah.

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
جزاك الله خير
For the explanation regarding the Sajdah that has always bothered me. Your take makes so so much more sense.
🇵🇰🇵🇰 ""when we win world cup we fall into sajda because it is a miracle"😇🤩
Divine intervention 😂😂😂😂
It's true in case of Indians, Pakistanis and Bangladeshis.
I remember last World Cup when the commentator said “the prayer mats are out” toward the end of the match when it was a close finish, lol
He nails it everytime 😂😂

5 yrs from now, my kids listening to his will not get "disinfectant" reference :)
Sweet dreams but pray tahajood!
😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
May Allah make us righteous fathers
BTw thank you for these series, gems of information drawn from them))
Soubhana Allah I’m speechless 🙏🏼
BENEFITS OF ISTIGHFAR
►Istighfar removes anxiety and Du'as are answered.
Always say Astaghfirullah Astaghfirullah…
~~Don’t leave Istighfar
A man once came to
al-Hasan al-Basri and complained to him: “The sky does not shower us with rain.”
He replied: “Seek Allah’s forgiveness (i.e. say أستغفر ألله).”
Then another person came to him and said, “I complain of poverty.” He replied: “Seek Allah’s forgiveness.”
Then another person came to him and complained, “My wife is barren; she cannot bear children.” He replied:
“Seek Allah’s forgiveness.”
The people who were present, said to al-Hasan: “Everytime a person came to you complaining, you instructed them to seek Allah’s forgiveness?”
Al-Hasan al-Basri said, “Have you not read the statement of Allah? ‘I said “
Ask forgiveness of your Lord. Truly He is Oft-Forgiving. He will send rain to you in abundance; increase you in wealth and children; grant you gardens and bestow on you rivers.”‘” [Nuh (71):10-12]
There are two things in the earth that give a person safety and security from the punishment of Allah.
The first has been removed, whilst the second still remains.
As for the first, it was the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him). “Allah would not punish them while you were among them.” [al-Anfal (8):33]
As for the second, it is istighfar. “Allah would not punish them as long as they sought forgiveness.” [al-Anfal (8):33] أستغفر ألله… أستغفر ألله… أستغفر ألله…
Do not ever leave istighfar!
Please share and remember that you will receive the reward for all those who make istighfar, due to your reminder.
Astaghfirullaaha wa ‘atoobu ‘ilayhi.
I seek the forgiveness of Allah and repent to Him.
(Recite one hundred times during the day)
It was reported in Saheeh Muslim that Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.) said: “I seek forgiveness one hundred times in a day.” [Muslim]
Du'a for seeking forgiveness:
Dua of Prophet Adam (A.S.)
Rabbana zalamna anfusana wa in lam taghfirlana watar hamna lana koonanna minal khasireen [7:23]
”Our Lord ! we have sinned against ourselves and unless You grant us forgiveness and bestow Your mercy upon us, we shall most certainly be lost."
رَبَّنا ظَلَمنا أَنفُسَنا وَإِن لَم تَغفِر لَنا وَتَرحَمنا لَنَكونَنَّ مِنَ الخٰسِرينَ
[SURAH AL-A`RAF, VERSE 23]
Du'a of Yunus (A.S) repenting to Allah in the belly of the whale:
“
LAA ILAAHA ILLAA ANTA SUBHAANAKA INNY KUNTU MINATHAULIMEEN” [21:87]
“There is none worthy of worship except You. You are pure. Verily I am amongst the oppressors.” [Al-‘Anbya’ 87]
Prophet Muhammad (Peace and Blessings be upon him) said about the Invocation of Yunus “None who is experiencing difficulty employs it except that Allah would relieve him of his difficulty.” [At-Tirmidhi]
Nooh (A.S) asked for the forgiveness of Allaah The Almighty, repenting by saying:
Rabbi Inneee A-o’od’u Bika An As-alaka Maa Laysa Lee Bihee I’lm Wa Illaa Taghfirlee Wa Tarh’amneee Akum Minal Khaasireen [11:47]
“My Lord, I seek refuge in You from asking that of which I have no knowledge. And unless You forgive me and have mercy upon me, I will be among the losers.” (Surat Hūd, 11: 47)
We must recite this dua’a to have full faith in the wisdom of Allah under all good and bad circumstances because Allah is all-knowing; and humbly seek His help to keep ourselves on the right path.
Say: Allahumma innaka ‘afuwwun, tuhibbul-‘afwa, fa’fu ‘anni.
(O Allah, You are Most Forgiving, and You love forgiveness; so forgive me).
Say: Astaghfirullah al-ladhi la ilaha illa huwal hayyul qayyum wa atubu ilayhi
It says in hadith, whoever says it seven times his sins will be forgiven even if he should have run away from the battlefield.
Say: SubhanAllah wa bihamdihi
Whoever says it hundred times, his sins will be forgiven even though they may be as much as the foam of the sea.
He becomes shy to return them empty.” [Ahmad, Abu Dawud, Tirmidhi]
.....
I love this man....
Asalamualikum sir I am so glad I saw you today in my dream ....I was like ---!!you are legend ...because of you and tariq jameel my life has changed completely. ..thank u
I hope to start learning this surah by heart. Thanks for all knowledge you are giving.. ♥♥♥

Maa shaa Allah brother I love your enthusiasm .😌🤲🌹
from 15:00 n onward about muslim parents thinkining they fulfilling their duty by doing bare-minimum like feeding n skool rings SOOO true.
