Nice video! I bought a used Multi-Trak and the output is quiet. Like I need to crank the gain on a mixer to get a nominal level. Sorta like Juno set to "Low' output. Not sure if that's normal? Also, have you ever had to replace a CEM3390 chip?
I found one in good condition with alu case, think about to buy. How much is it worth today, 700-1200 bucks? Would upgrade the OS from Tauntek. Whats your thoughts of the synth?
The only thing I couldn't fix is the Pitch Wheel. It was stucked a bit so I had to disassembly. Its range seems strange. It bends up +4 semitones and bends down 2 semitones. I've tried the Record+3 button combination to recalibrate but nothing happens. Do you have any recommendations to get this fine?
Didn't watch the whole video. There is a known issue with the Multitrak that will run the battery down quickly if not corrected. The fix is pretty easy to implement and is documented on the web.

The out put is normal on mine. I have not replaced the CEM3390.

One knob editing makes it less fun to play with but give you a nice deep dark sounds. They range from 800 -1200 depending on condition.
@@DIRTYHERTZ I see, but what about MIDI CC in the DAW with the newest firmware? Is then possible to tweak the the parameters via knobs?

I don't. Make sure all the contacts are clean
